Thanks Ptabatcher! Picked one up
DOTD on some Dewalt 12v tools. $89. Impact wrenches, OMT and, some saws.
But, I think the standout is the 5-in-1 “installation” tool. My personal favorite for around the house. This is a kit with a 2ah battery and charger for $89!
I couldn’t resist, just ordered! Thanks Ptabatcher! Picked one up
When I first saw this, I was ready to jump but then realized it's the 12v platform. I'll stick with the 20v versions.I was tempted, but I don't want to buy more batteries just for this drill, and the future of the 12V line seemed uncertain from what I read. I think it'd be more tempting if it came with a couple of batteries and/or a higher capacity one.
Same here. I'm locked in on 20v & 20/60v flexvolt & don't want to add another battery type. Looks like a cool tool for someone who isn't already invested in a battery line. When I first saw this, I was ready to jump but then realized it's the 12v platform. I'll stick with the 20v versions.

I thought I felt the same way, I’m already in the 20v DeWalt line, but installation drivers are more about lightweight work and smaller profile. I don’t have the 20v version of this, but I do have the sister ship in the Craftsman range, the V20 RP screwdriver.Same here. My first 12 volt dewalt. I’ll just add the charger to the charger pile with all the rest. I mostly got it for the offset driver attachment, which I didn’t have. I like 12 volt tools in general, and use them whenever I can get away with them. Very light weight and compact. They delivered this to my door three hours after I ordered it. Dangerously convenient. Worked well. Nice usable bag too.

That is one thing Dewalt did right. That 12v should be able to be charged on all their other chargers, but the 12v charger doesn't charge anything but 12v.
Replying to myself, but there may be a new contender:From a previous GJ Hot Deals thread, I found the Dewalt Jacks here for $69.99/ea:
Apparently they were as low as $50 at one point. I'd never heard of the store, but even with shipping they're much less than I'm seeing elsewhere.
Bessey Beyceps Lifting & Mounting ToolI don't think it has had time to go on sale yet, but from a cursory read it seems worth adding to the list of competing products for comparison.
I've never seen that site before. I first noticed the jack at Home Depot for $108.29, with no indication of a sale price.
Sale is over now, but FYI:Replying to myself, but there may be a new contender:

My bad. Thanks for the link. I tend to spend too much time researching items before purchase, but I clearly didn't apply that same tendency before posting about these jacks. I noticed them when searching for jacks that could extend five or six feet higher — probably using the wrong terms.
its my most used tool around the house. I was hanging some giant mirrors for my wife’s workout studio The other day, found myself just swapping the heads on it. One for the drill bit. if you want to expand your dewalt 12v line- deal of the day

Shows up at full price for me. If you could get it for $79, it’s almost worth it just for the battery. As @yevangelis (that cheap son of a *****!) pointed out, the 12v DeWalt line @ Lowes is selling for about 40-50% off.
I see the 12v screwdriver also now on sale today, until Friday, as well:

Someplace I have the # for executive customer relations. I've had some pretty decent battles with store managers. If you need it I'll hunt it down. They canceled my order, citing they were out of stock. The website shows they currently have 3 in stock.
********.
I’ll be heading there tomorrow morning and asking for the store manager.
Stay tuned.

I once bought a cman grease gun on dotd, waited several days for my pickup email, and got a cancellation instead. Very frustrating. They canceled my order, citing they were out of stock. The website shows they currently have 3 in stock.

Lowes could have one shipped to you at no additional cost. They should go out of their way to give you a reason to come back, and I hope they do.
Post your results.
Well, not good news.
Store Manager said it wasn't his call, the call came from Corporate and this could have been an issue with the wrong day posted on the website. The date on my screenshot above says "ends Aug 21" (tomorrow), so maybe we will see this come up tomorrow.
Regardless, he told me contact Lowes Corporate so with the help of @wire I have the contact info for them and will go down this road after I check the site tomorrow.
