That brings to mind another question: what's mo betta - gooseneck or sliding 5th wheel hitch, and why? The first obviously takes up less bed room so I'm guessing the latter has more weight capacity?
Idk what a pickup 5th wheel is rated for. Common ball for a gooseneck is good for like 25,000lbs.

Gooseneck is way more common

Before my 2000 F350 was totaled, I had four hitches. Two 2” drops with a 2” and 2 5/16” balls, a two 4” drops with 2” and 2 5/16” balls. I love the adjustable flip hitches now.
