Made some Craftsman model number tags. I used to make these by embossing the aluminum, then applying an adhesive back print on top. These were laser engraved matte black aluminum. It makes for an incredible durable nearly exact match. The only trick was to leave a little extra material at the bottom edge so that the embossing machine would be lined up perfectly. Then I trim off that material to make the final tag.

Here is a set of labels I made for a restoration of a vintage John Deere #374 trencher attachment.

This was especially tricky because I only had a distorted photo of each label. Fortunately, I knew the size, so did my best to make an accurate reproduction.

These were printed and brushed aluminum and white, and then a clear polycarbonate lamination was added.

General Electric 3/4HP motor label. This label was severely faded, and was nearly impossible to see the details. It was printed and laminated then applied to 0.025” aluminum.

Here is a Husky-Master lift label reproduction. The lift was blasted and painted and wouldn’t look right with the old label.

Made some labels for the automatic roll trackers of a 1917 Style 25 American Fotoplayer (player piano). These were printed on 12 mil synthetic paper, and then cut with a Graphtec. The 3/64” nail holes are too small for my cutter, so I left marks so they could be manually drilled.

I made a label for an Athol vise. The original was lost and all I had was a low quality photograph of a well worn label. Took some time zooming in and staring to figure out layout. I wasn’t able to find an identical one anywhere online.

This was printed on a 3M metallic gold vinyl and then contour cut to shape.

Here’s a set of labels for a Union drill index. These are printed on a gold metallic vinyl to match the original style.
I used the auto serialization function to generate each label from an Excel file, but then had to manually modify the smaller fractions sizes.
