Ha-ha!YMMV but we all can use a lift off the can one day
When I bought the house I'm currently living in, I didn't notice the bars in a couple of the bathrooms. After I had been here awhile, I started thinking about removing them, them someone pointed out that I'm in my late 60s.

Down 50% at some, to $99.50. Decent deal for no hoop jumping, but I'd be looking at a deal on the M12 Fuel kit. Be aware that you might be picking up a kit that is dust & decently old, as his set has been made for 10+ years, and not the hottest seller compared to more recent offerings.

Our local stores still do, but they're usually full of junk. The deals on good stuff seem to remain in their original locations. I've found more of them from this thread in recent months.
I visit my local HD a couple / few times a week to browse / walk the aisles. Got to know a couple of the sales people that service the tool areas. When they see me, aside from welcoming me back, they will mention clearance items if they exist. They know I am invested in the Dewalt line and will bring those to my attention.

It can vary. Most things are going to be at the same price at multiple stores, but not always. It could be smaller stores are clearancing certain product, because they are a small store and need to move new items in more frequently.
If you take the Milwaukee M18 Forge 6ah battery right now, it is clearanced company wide because it is discontinued. That doesn't mean you store will have stock.
The price is what it is at your store. As clearance can vary among stores, they aren't going to match.

Some will be store specific, for example closeouts. Some of these could be available throughout the HD chain, but will depend on stock status at each store. You can see the status by "shopping" online at your a local store and searching for the item. Be aware that stock status, especially for low stock items, will likely be inaccurate. Also, these closeouts generally are not available for online purchase.
Other sales discussed here (Deal of the Day, etc.) are available chain wide.
Only one of the blue tanks at my local store but I got all 7 2 packs of the fat green tanks for 1.20 per 2 pack .I know this was posted before but I passed on it as I have no real need for another torch as I hardly ever use them anymore but for $6 who doesn't need one. Last time I looked I thought these were about $15

cant even look it up on line, shows as discontinued. Maybe I'll check local. That is a crazy deal
What's weird is I went to a different store over the weekend and they had those blue propane tanks still at full price but there weren't many on the shelf.
It seemed apparent they either weren't carrying them anymore or there is a supply chain issue. Due to the clearance at the other store I suspect the former.
All the other stores around me were still full price, and had lots of them in stock. I hope to grab a few more when these stores go on clearance. Its odd because the store that had them on clearance, was the last store to clearance the coast brand lights I wanted.

The limited edition black model kit (same 2ah & charger) dropped to $89 in stores last week. If any are left, they should be on the front racetrack in a cardboard shipper.

We live a crazy world when people are going crazy about Ryobi "black edition" tools.
You can call TTI many things, but creative marketing that sells tools is a strong suit.
I'm still trying to figure out why you'd pay $30 more to have the "black edition". I mean it's just Ryobi and not something really cool like Knipex or even KleinWe live a crazy world when people are going crazy about Ryobi "black edition" tools.

It’s so you can feel extra mad when you place your blackout tool somewhere and lose it.
I‘d rather pay extra for high viz than blackout.

I hear ya. But damn. I always thought the Ryobi color was the worst. It looks like the hulk barfed up a hi-vis vest and they painted a drill with it.

Yup...it wasn't so bad when their main color was blue....but now the hulk hi-vis is pretty bad

FYI my makita fanboy friend said those are annoyingly inconvenient and that price isn’t very good
Yeah that tracks — Makita hardly ever goes on sale.
That was the cheapest price I could find. Where does your friend find them? Does your friend not like the compact size, or starlock? Im not sure what inconvenient referees too. I rather like that model because its nice and light, and has so much less vibration then my Fein or my Bosch.

Recent price increases might prevent this deal from returning, but he could be thinking that HD has previously included this in their "free" battery pack deal, so maybe if you return the battery pack, the tool is about ~$90.
Blades are much easier to change on a DeWalt, and Starlock blades are annoyingly expensive for an extremely disposable item,
but I went with the Makita since it has way less vibration, and prioritizing long-term physical health is probably a good idea...

Agreed, this is my first grab for a multi-tool. I think it’s the most quality, quiet and efficient one I use, and I have five other brands.
