Hi All,


Ive been floating around here for a while just looking, reading etc.

Its about time I said hello from Australia.

I mainly read the lift threads around here because my prize possessions are my

Rotary Lifts.

Im surprised at what you guys are paying for lifts as here they are a lot more

expensive.


The Brands we mainly deal with are, Rotary, Power-rex, Molnar ( Australian ) Bend-Pak, Heshbon, Laycock etc.

Im so impressed with the service you guys get from Bend Pak, Its fantastic.

It may look white in that photo but its actually Yellow.

Welcome to posting on the site (finally!). Looks like a working shop, is it? What kind of work do you mainly do?

We are definitely lucky we have such good service from BP. Even luckier the Veep is a member of this board!!! I've had my BP for 4 year now - it's been awesome.

Ha ha, language translation Tea = Dinner, evening meal, etc.

Our ALI certed lifts are the good old SPOA10, and SM14, with RJ7000Z (rolling Jack )

Im also partial to your Snap On Tools as you can probably tell from the photo's.

I actually have a good mate who Owns/Operates a Snap On truck.

I have read about your world famous BP about 400 times lol.

Working shop? yes I do work in it but mainly for mates, friends and of course myself.


Mate its funny you should ask what I do.

We specialise in Hydraulic and Mechanical repairs. More specifically we Mainly work on Vehicle Hoists, ( thats what aussies call them ) Dock levellers, freight lifts, bale presses, compactors, tail gates etc etc the list goes on.

We Sell, Install, Service and Repair all makes of Lift ( keep calling them lifts now lol )

We are agents or repairers for Rotary, Power-rex, and because of this forum I have in the last few days contacted the distributor for Bend Pak, Australia.

We can now sell Bend Pak's!

Although I wouldn't consider ourselves agents at this time.
After reading through possibly all the lift threads on this forum and being so impressed with how Bend Pak does business and looks after its customers, I wanted to be able to offer there Lifts in our line up.

Im going over there models and trying to decide which one to buy and install in our shed, I think ill end up with a XPR10C, Which im confident is ALI certed also. ( Have to get up to speed with the models )

We will special order ours as per we did with our Rotarys ( Black )

As I neede a low profile scissor lift and this was the lowest I could find at 115mm

How come you needed a scissor? Do you have valves or taps on the hydraulic lines?

Once my new extension is done I will be putting a 4T clear floor two post in there for traditional style work.

The taps will need to be equalised from time to time to level the platforms.

Ill pm you my phone number, but as my previous post we can pretty much do anything, What sort of vehicles will you be lifting? Summit is rebranded Power-Rex.

Its a large area to cool down, 22.5mtr x 10mtrx and 4.5 to the eaves, 5.7 in the guts.

I dont even have any fans in here yet, going to investigate that next week.

We tend to get a good deal of wind blowing down through the place and thats the main reason I put the 5 mtr door in the side of the shed.

Its been bearable but its not hot yet.

I get these from Wurth Australia, They supply them free as long as I use there products, Its part of there ORSY System. From what I can gather it means organised in German, thats where the company originates. ( Germany )

There Lubricant's are like Snap On stuff, F*#kin expensive, But really good some of there cans cost $42 dollars each.

I have so many of those ****** racks I don't know what to do with them. On a side note, When you sign up for the Orsy system a Rep comes 3 weekly, does inventory, and CLEANS everything for you.

There system extend's to many things, cabinets, wire rolls, clip boards, electrical trolley's etc.

He is basically saying he is very impressed. As is I and many others here. Very nice space, and very organized. I love it.

I understand some loosely used American slang must be a bit confusing. Especially with some extreme urban terms that no-one actually takes seriously. Such as 'baller status'.

If you have achieved full baller status then you surely have a got Stickman to do your dirty work for you too.


From the urban dictionary:

Having reached a superlative level of ballerdom, it is said one has acheived baller status. This often goes hand in hand with early retirement and being a man of leisure. It can often devolve into a world of dinner whores and golddiggers if the baller has a weak pimp hand.

Everybody that come round or sees the Cortina has a story to tell, I think Ive met 5 million people who had a "Lotus" Cortina when they were younger lol.

Me I have always loved them, I attached a photo of the injin, Its a 1500 pre cross flow, forged Datsun crank, Corolla rods, special pistons, dry sumped and runs twin 45mm Webbers.

The Engine is brand new and is completely experimental..................

Bit of an update, got home yesterday to discover my new lift had arrived, After finding my boy I set him straight to work, here he is unpacking.

After Van cut all the packaging off, I rolled the table over for him and then he went to work installing the platform ramps etc.

And here's the finished product, makes a good work bench lol

KW
