I know it's kinda sorta off-topic, but do any of you have a tool tattoo you'd like to share? Here's one I did on my buddy several years ago:

I also know someone with a Sawzall tattoo. I'll try to get a pic.
Anyone else?

I think a skull and cross wrenches would be kind of cool, but just a pair of knipex pliars on my neck? uh, pass :wtf:

To each his own. If you want a tool logo on your bod, cool! Go for it. Looks like nice workmanship...and a pretty stout arm, too.

For me...I would need to be paid a LOT of money to wear any company's logo on my body. But then, I have no tattoos at all.

I think "tool" tattoos would be alright if done into a sleeve type thing w/ maybe some other automovtive related type things in it. I would proly leave brand names out. But like a single ratchet or screwdriver...not for me.

I agree. I actually drew up a design years ago with a piston/conrod and a big combo wrench in an X shape with some flames, thought it could look pretty cool but I could never get the design quite right. Definitely didn't want to get anything inked unless the design was perfect...

Thanks. It actually looks much nicer now, after the post-tattoo bumpiness went down.
And it ain't so much a stout arm as it is a skinny little leg! Haha!

I'll say this in the most respectful way...

that's retarded. :headshake
Your comment is not respectful at all.
As a member who is fully sleeved + some. A Tattoo is a personal choice. I would not rock a Craftsman tattoo, well... maybe a C1 raised panel where the c underlined the craftsman:bounce:

a tattoo artist once told me never to tell someone how much a tattoo *****. my mom said " if you have nothing nice to say, keep quiet"

Well, I'm just going to put this out there...

If I EVER decided to tatoo my tool , I sure wouldn't post a picture of it on the internet. Is that sort of thing even allowed ?? :bounce:

I have a friend with an elephant on his junk. Google it. I'm dead serious.

I also have a buddy from Texas with a wrench like this. the "size" is his wedding date, I forget what they did for brand, his wife's name or something. It's been a while since I've seen it.

African or Indian Elephant ? I'm thinking you'd want to make sure you fit on all of the ears...??

:dunno:

You have some interesting friends !

Now some of the tatoo'd gals I've come across.... we'll maybe keep that for another post...

I don't know, but the joke is if you are...less than average you get the elephant really cartoony, but if you're movie material you get it realistic, lol. I've only ever seen it's eyes.

I used to travel all over America to car shows, so I've seen some tattoos, lol.

It would be classic if his wife's name was "Bonney"

No difference between a tool brand and all those guys that have Harley Davidson tattoos. Just a way to express what you enjoy in life.

As many people around here that praise and argue almost to death about the attributes of Harbor Freight tools I'm suprized that nobody has a Harbor Freight tattoo!:lol_hitti
