I have that same box too. Yours is in MUCH better shape though. I don't think its a snappy but I could be wrong. Welcome to the site!

awesome tools your grandfather had:thumbup: The indestro metric set will be the best fit you could imagine. They are all excellent usable tools. The tool box is called a super bee? don't know who made it though. You are lucky to get them. welcome,JBW

I'm pretty sure that's exactly the same as my first toolbox. I got it for Christmas around 1971 or so. I believe it came from Montgomery Wards or Pennys, although it could have been Sears. I still have it stashed away somewhere.

VERY NICE ! I like that the ratchet is repair-able and HAS been repaired (grandfather must
have lost the original screw though ;)

it would be cool to use those - knowing your dad & grandfather BOTH had their hands
wrapped around them fixing something !

NICE heirlooms for your kids and your own grandchildren !

My Grandfather had that exact same box too. He bought it late in his life - mid 1970's - and I'm fairly certain it was Montgomery Wards or Penney's, as well. He bought most of his stuff at one of those two places during that time. It's most definitely not a Snap On.
