I was concerned about making it to you in one piece so I taped the snot out of it. Used a bunch of duct tape and clear shipping tape. The Mail Person said that I taped the box excessively.

As for me, I have received mine and my SS received his yesterday!

petty PMed me about it going out today so we're good. the anticipation is sometimes the best part. i can't complain either as after a detour half of my gift is close to my recipient's residence courtesy of boro_boy70 the other half is still at my house due to the reason for the detour the recipient is in the loop so we're good there also. it's all part of life and it's adventures.

Sounds like mine made it. I forgot to put my username anywhere, but I'll own up to it after it gets opened.

My present has disappeared from under the tree, and my wife is threatening to wrap over the priority box. Personally, I think a Priority box known to contain tools is beautiful in its own right!

I haven't seen a post from my recipient yet either. Package went out 2-weeks ago to Texas. Maybe there is a Texas-Customs inspection station that keeps packages from entering from California?

I ended up driving to my SS-recipient in the dead of night/morning, at 4am this morning. Nice 40minute cruise, pretty dark out as well.

I left it on the cowl of their car on the driveway, hopefully he can confirm receiving it soon!

My overwhelmed schedule meant I couldn't put all the items in one place, and exams meant unable to facilitate the shipping. Shipping the previous few days would have been outrageous. And traffic between my SS and I is treacherous during the day.

Hope he likes it!
