Then I retired in 2003..

Wife really liked it there and I enjoyed it as well when I wasn't training in the mud..LOL

Really enjoyed the schnapps, Pils, and white wine (suss)

The wife is of German extract (Kuster)

You haven't done Christmas shopping until you have shopped an open-air KrisKindleMarkt for several hours finding all manner of German Christmas items AND THEN hitting the open-air food stand. You MUST have the Gluhwein and fresh made Kartofflpfannen mit apfelsuss (potato pancakes with apple sauce).

I Know =)... But I did not know that so many of you were in Germany. Pils, Schnaps,... Heilbronn is 2 hours away from me and Baumholder is not even closer.

Oh, Christkindles Markt in Nürnberg or Christkindlmarkt in Munich?... I was not there but it must be great! =) In Summer I was in Nürnberg at a Bachelor-Party. It's a nice city! Darmstadt is only 40 Minutes from me
