Thanks for the reply, the one you posted has a different bar code number then mine, I'm thinking once mine is scanned it can't be reused. Does HF have these posted on there site?

I wonder if the different bar codes can be used at different stores. Meaning if you use it once at one store then it's no longer valid, but may go to another store and use it there. Not that I would really travel so far to save 25% but if you could find the coupons online then you could use several at one store.

I don't really know what I would use it for other than the round random orbital sander or framing nailer, maybe a usa made air hose. Who knows.

The different codes may be for something as simple as marketing feedback. One code might be for the online coupon, another for the ones in magazines, another from their e-mails, etc., etc. Having a different code for each place they list this coupon lets them collect data on where their advertising dollars are best spent.

The one I linked to above is HF's website.

I have three coupons in hand and all three have the same code and it's different than the online code. I got them at the store the day after Christmas. Here is a scan of one of them:

That angle gauge is nice. Does the coupon exclude the tool carts even though it notes tool cabinets?

O.K., I'm not the sharpes knife in the kitchen but I can't find a link to the 25% coupon on there site, or do mean they sent it to you from there web site? Thanks again.

That's because you just print that coupon in the link he provided.

Oh, if you want to have many different 25% coupons, just scroll to the end of the link. Change the number towards the end and press enter. If you look for the numbers close to the end of the link that match up with the barcode number this is what I'm talking about. This way you have an endless amount of different coupons.

I've printed out a couple of pages one showing "cabinets" and another with "carts." The coupon is specific stating that it is not good for tool "cabinets." (I do enjoy a good argument.)

But, I've also found a "super coupon" for one of the black tool carts at $99, which is less than the non-sale price using the 25% off coupon.

I bought a big red service cart today. The really beefy one with all the drawers. I had to argue with the cashier to get him to even try to scan the 20% of coupon and he was shocked when it worked. As long as the clerk in corporate saw it say "service cart" and not "tool cabinet", the computer will accept the coupon if you can get the sales drone to try to scan it.

In the end, though, it made the beefy red on $160 vs the $100 coupon posted above for the black one. I thought I was going to buy the black one and then I accidentally dropped the lid. As it crashed shut, I thought about how clutzy my wife and I are and decided I had to buy the red one since it has gas struts for the lid (the black one does not).

The red one would be the one I would get. The only problem is getting that "red" cart past the wife and into the garage.

Update: Here is the link on the HF site for the coupon that contains the 25% Off oupon and all the other "super coupons" good for new years day:

http://widgets.harborfreight.com/ws...e=5210c_ny.html&cust=78078289524&keycode=0000

Also, note that there is a coupon for the 13 drawer box for $369 good good through 1-1-11. In the fine print of this coupon is clearly states "limit 4". I wonder if you can get all for of them for $369...:headscrat

Heh, why aren't you wondering about the guy who made that limitation necessary?

Same thing I went through. Have them scan it. The computer will let it go through on the service carts.

As far as I can tell, all the good (non-coupon) sale prices end on 12/31, so the 25% off coupon isn't all that useful. Most things are cheaper with a sale price + 20% coupon, versus the New Years Day price + 25% coupon.

I actually went to my local HF on 12/26 specifically to get a 25% off coupon to buy a sand blaster cabinet, until I realized that it would only be valid on 1/1. The sale price ends and the price goes up $100 on 1/1. So... I ended up just using my 20% off coupon. I doubt I'll even bother using the 25% coupon.

Being the good guy I am I'll store it for you at no cost....even if it takes years for your wife to come around to your way of thinking. The best part is I promise I won't use.

January's savings book has a coupon for it at $199. It's good until 1-27-11..

Also, the website is showing the price at $219...

For what it's worth - the most recent MotorTrend and Car and Driver magazines have a coupon for $349.99 and it looks like January 14th-17th the cabinet will be on sale for $329.99 (internet price) without a super coupon.

That coupon appears to have a customer # in the barcode... I wonder if the website or in-store registers keep track of it. If so, then that limit of 4 may apply to the customer.

It says one coupon per customer per day, so I'm not sure if that's how they track the limit of 4.
