I have a 3-12 approx interior ceiling pitch.

Which would be the better choice for lighting with t-8 bulbs.

1. Use not reflector units mounted flush with the 12' ceiling

2. Use batwing reflector units hung on unistrut and threaded rod to keep them parallel with the floor.

Thanks

I would go with #2 unless the ceiling will be finished or concern of headroom? Option #1 would disperse the light where it's needed least.

I sure wouldn't use strut unless you get it for free. Chain still works very well, and probably will long after I'm dead.

Use jack chain and V-hooks. Remember, if fixtures are hung from chain or any other type of flexible mount you MUST use stranded wire.

go with the strip, you'll only collect dust on those industrials...
Plus the industrials will create a dark ceiling and make it feel smaller.

for the little amount of downlight that you'll lose by using a strip, you will be much happier with the performance of the strait strips.
