Per what? I can think of, or research, 100's of brands I don't own - thinking of antique wrench manufacturers that have been out of business for 50 years or more... I probably own at least one of all the "normal" brands available today - for either auto or home/wood use. Well, not some currently (but in the past):

Cornwell
Matco
Mac
SO (one 1/4-3/8 adapter still in the box)

There are also 100's of euro and asian tool manufacturers I don't own.

I was just thinking of well known brands you could think of off the top of your head. I'm sure there are 1000's I don't have but just thing of the more common brands

I used to have mainly Mac and SK, I loved my Mac ratchets, screwdrivers, trim tools, etc; I love the red hard handles. I really, really miss my Macsimizer. MY HF box is fine; it does it's job, but I think I want something more appealing, I may spring for the Monty 56" top, bottom, and 2 lockers.

All my old sockets were SK "chrome" and Sunnex "impact."

I still have my Mac 1/4 air ratchet, and a SO 1/4 hand ratchet. I also have my MAC 1/4 impact "I loved that thing; can't find it, but it's around."

Another tool I really miss is the Matco Special Forces "with air ratchet."

I'll limit the list to brands I don't own that I would buy.

Facom
Hazet
Wright
Armstrong
Duralast(ratchets)
Williams

That's pretty much it. Craftsman and HF make up the majority of my tools, maybe 5% are other*. I do have a bit of truck brand stuff, mainly SO but It's for reselling not actual use.

Why would you go from SK(or any quality tool) to HF? Most people go from **** to quailty not the other way around.

I have crossed wrigh of the list, just got a set of wright grips, best wrenches, I like them better the SO! Would try proto and armstrong, but just a not good easy way to buy. Open to klein. No interest in the others.

Snap-On, Matco, MAC.
*sigh*

I mostly have craftsman and a tiny bit of leftover Canadian Tire mastercrap. The mastercrap is almost never used however and is more for friends houses, junkyarding, etc... The Craftsman stuff stays home.

Just like most on here, I have a varying collection. I think I have gone out of my way to buy some of the oddballs though. I have bought King ****, Urrea, Gray, USAG, Mastercraft, Hazet, Stahlwille, etc... pieces just because they were oddball ones.

I know I am still missing some of the others listed here though

Beta, Koken, Nepros, Toptul, Silver Eagle. Probably many more too.

All my tools are USA with the exception of 1 set of SAE Gearwrenches which I like so far.

What I do own - Plomb-Proto,Williams,Bonney,Wright,Craftsman,Snapon,Mac,Diamond,Billings,Vlchek,Channellock,Klein,S&K,Blackhawk,New-Britain,Stanley,Thorsen,Walden,Cresent and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. Given I have more of some than others.

What I don't own that I would buy - Matco,Armstrong,Cornwell,Knipex, and mostly some of the older brands I didn't mention above that I already own.

I will not buy hard hands tools from HF, it's a safety issue.
