We used a DeWalt 18 volt all year at work putting irons on a building. 11/16 nuts or something. The thing would go forever on a charge. Charging only took an hour or so.

So I had to have one and got real lucky and found one at t pawn shop for $95 with two batteries, charger and case. Thing was like brand new. I've seen them at stores for well over $200 new.

Anyway... I like it. Haven't even used the one I bought yet.... but the one at work was great.

I've got the Goodyear as well. I bought it from Pepboys on clearance for $70 when they stopped selling them about 5 years ago and it's still going strong. I could use some new batteries though, I think they are about done.

I've also got the new Ryobi P260 and like it as well. It comes with a quick release adapter that slips over the 1/2" anvil to allow easy change of standard sized bits. The only thing I don't like is how quickly the safety feature kicks in to protect the batteries. To reset it you have to disconnect the battery and then plug it back in. I've only had this issue once or twice when taking off lug nuts.

Neither are suitable for professional use but they have served this weekend warrior well.

Here's my drawer on my tool cart with a couple of my cordless tools,

sbh3is.jpg

The 1/4 cordless ratchet is my favorite cordless tool. The 3/8 is a POS and somewhere in Matco's repair facility getting repaired. The little driver which shares batteries with the 1/4 cordless is pretty good too actually. I used it for installing plate frames mostly at my former job as a dealer tech. For whatever reason my 1/2 cordless wasn't in this picture but it's the badass of the family. I'll put it up against ANY Snap-On 1/2 impact anyday.

Snap-on 1/2 18 volt cordless. I love it! when my buddies and myself used to go racing every weekend this thing made quick work of getting street tires off and slicks on. also came in handy for axle swaps. never had a problem getting a 36mm or a 32mm axle nut off with it! at about $550 its a little pricey, but as far as i am concerned worth every penny! P.S. It eats Matco cordless impacts for breakfast!

Snap-on 3/8 14.4 volt cordless. One of my most used power tools. pretty much retired my 3/8 mac air impact. has enough umph to get lug nuts off if you need it to. $430 ish i think i paied for it, but it has more than paied for itself! If it broke tomorrow i would not hesitate for a second to buy another one!

Snap-on 3/8 7.2 volt cordless. they rate it at 50 fl/lbs, but i do not think it makes close to that. however it is your best friend for 10mm and 8mm headed bolts under dash and under hood. i really wish this came with a 1/4 anvil, but looking at the snap-on site it looks like they just released one! i think it was a little under $150

Toolhorder, what size (length wise)would your 3/8 cordless ratchet be compare to your 1/4 inch one? The one in your pic seems like a nice size. I have a 3/8 cordless ratchet but at 13 inch its just too damn long. :(

Stellar collection of tools sir. There's probably $5K in that drawer alone?

I don't have any personable pics of mine, but I also use the Dewalt and it's a work horse. Extremely strong and goes forever on 1 charge. My only complaint is the big/bulky design. I only use it at the race track for R&R'ing tires and it'll rip a lug nut off TQ'd to 100ft lbs all day. We TQ'd our race slicks down to 100-110ft lbs, and I've changed 15-18 sets of tires in one weekend on 1 charge with this gun. Can't say enough about it, love it.

I got this gun for Christmas and have only used it a couple of times (to damn cold to try and do anything outside!) but seems to work good. only problem i have with it is that its heavy and kinda bulky but other than that it does what i need.
for some reason i got three batteries with it so keeping a fresh on shouldnt be a problem.

I was thinking about getting one of these with the ole' tax return, whats your take on it? I was leaning more toward the 19.2v 1/2 model, but I like that the 14.4 batteries can be used with other tools.

Agree, I too like the 14.4 battery interchangability. I have the 3/8 ratchet too. Been looking at buying additional tools, maybe the die grinder.

This is my mine. The thing is very stout in my opinion. I used it recently to take off u-bolt nuts on a rusted up 75 model 1 ton truck rear end. I used up both partial charged batteries but it managed to take off all but two nuts. It took a while but impressed me and it was all I had since I didn't have access to a compressor. I love it for junkyard trips too. In fact I haven't used my 1/2 drive air impact since I got this.

The yellow impact is a set from the harbor freight lug nut impact socket. Bought it over 2 years ago for $15. Don't know how the price jump to $40 now. Anyway best $15 bucks spent. Excellent for rim protection and easy identification.

Yeah, I have the Hazet model. One costs what that set costs. But that's all I need and I can live with that. I figure we come out the same in the end.

Thanks.

Here are my two. I have to say, I don't do a lot of mechanical work at the quick lube I work at, but the Bosch one makes QUICK work of skid plates! I love the damn thing!!

And the Ryobi is pretty stout when we get a ti ro in. It's usually me and another guy. I'm on electric he's on the air, and this thing usually can beat the air gun (IR 231C) we have. It seems like it impacts the fastener much more rapidly than air guns do. I have had good luck with other Ryobi ONE+ tools, and this is no exception!!!

I also have the HF lug nut socket set and use the hell out of it. I think I picked it up for $25 or so and was the best cash I've spent there! And no complaints about scuffed rims! whatsitsname, your 19mm is way cleaner than mine! 3 out of 4 rotations we get in use the 19mm. And it's still holding up aside from the plastic insert popping out....

Those colored Hitachis are awesome! I instantly fell in love with this makita at home depot. It's awesome, but the $216 price tag turned me off hard. I'm perfectly content with the Bosch though!!!

If you like it so much, then why are you selling it?

This is your auction, right? eBay Auction #: 190498686625

I'm asking because this is the same wrench that I'm looking to buy. :)

I don't think that is his auction. More likely it is a guy name nato or something. He is on this board selling the one battery he piece together kit. I think he has an thread on the classified section. Go look for it.

Ahh...I see now. I don't spend a lot of time here, but I noticed that it was the same picture and it made me wonder if there's something about these Milwaukee's that people don't like.

I have several IR Titanium impacts and should sell off a couple of them to make room for the Milwaukee. I look forward to taking the Milwaukee to the race track and getting some use out of it this year.

Ditto that! I've had mine going three years and use it everyday. Only two complaints, one, seems the 21mm is a little tight, and two, wish I had bought two sets.
