I have a 30 x 40 (prety close) I am new here too but I am posting some of my pics of my project (3 years in the making), it is under "Garage turned obsession". If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I have been planing for 5 years and building for 3.

Not really sure how to add a link to my thread or I would...sorry.

Hope I can be of some help,
Joe

I have a 28' x 36' with a 6' overhang on the front and side. I have seriously been considering closing in the 6' overhang to gain some more space and possibly putting in a bathroom. The 28' depth works out fine, but with 2 vehicles, a workbench, and a 6' belly mower, I find that I could use some more room on the sides.

I could use some more in the back too, but heck, I could double the size of the current garage and still find that I need more room :lol_hitti

Here are some pics in here http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56999&highlight=Garage+Upgrade My upgrades came to a halt last year due to family medical issues

More flexibility in the measurement request should net more photos

Thinking of doing a 28x40 with 10 foot ceiling and scissors trusses. Two garage doors on the 40 side one 16 foot other 8 foot. What I'm thinking of doing is placing a 4 post left on the left side of the 16 foot door but don't know if I'll have room to drive another car in with the lift there. So might have to go with 3 garage doors. I would also like to see some overhead storage ideals with the scissors trusses.
