I'm pretty sure this will be the final arrangement as its basically how the space dictates. It loses alittle functionality of the 60"W ones but I think it'll be ok for now. The plan is to slowly add drawers to the 60"Hx30"W ones and fill them up. I've got some body work to do on one of the 60W as the open end was facing out from the trailer and the strap went across the middle, so it pulled the top down some. I couldn't pull it back up so probably gonna take a jack. Those 60W ones are HEAVY! I had a tarp on for half the trip and it wasn't very tight and scuffed up some of the finish. If they were new I probably would have been alittle more upset. But I still like to keep my stuff nice :)

Here's the place I picked them up from. F'n massive space.

They had about 40 of the 8 drawer's already but those went up higher than I wanted. One went for more than I paid for all 7 of those, a heavy duty Lyon cabinet and a 6" Dayton bench grinder.

But I still need to clean these up a bit and get the shelves where I want them. Then figure out what i'm going to put in the drawers. I think one will fill up everything I have probably. Thinking about using 2-3 drawers for some bolt/nut storage.

Good thing you have the "Jeep" poster on the wall, otherwise, using the "Smurf" word is grounds for suspension of your man card.....

Oh....nice find.....

Just an idle thought.....if your thinking you want doors on any of them....consider smoked plexi glass....It's actually pretty easy to make a frame for a plexi glass panel....or you can buy them...

The door would kep dust and dirt out...but you could still see what is inside...and a medium gray would contrast nicely with that blue. To keep the doors closed....just use the adhesive backed magnetic strips....

That is a good idea about the doors. I saw SV had doors available, just solid steel, basic. I had thought when ordering drawers to maybe get the vidmar grey which would look pretty good with some smoke plexi. Most of those are in a back room off the garage so metal dust shouldn't be a factor. The two in front might have the potential. I've also got a Lyon cabinet that looks to be they heavy duty one as well, which of course has doors. That i'm not sure where to put.

Haha, they seemed pretty smurfy to me, I dunno, was about all I could come up with em. I think thats their bright blue. And fortunately they don't even block my banner either :) It was a 12 hr day from start to finish, not including unloading. In the end I think it was worth it. Other than I found out the trailer jack scratched the hell out of my tailgate since I had to have it down to fit the two smaller 30"H ones. I was planning on line x eventually but I guess it shot up to the top of the list. So I can't really count that as a part of the cost of these. The two 30"H ones no one bid on and I got them both for $50, the 3 60"H x 30"W were $36ea and the two 60"Hx60"W were $46ea. The Lyon was my most expensive at $122 but its basically brand new. My most competition came with that one. Keep in mind all these have a 18% buyers fee which kinda *****, especially if you had a 4 figure item. But usually even those are smoking deals. It was funny when they were bringing them out I thought they were giving me an extra 60"H one, turns out I got 3, haha. I got very carried away, but the price, who wouldn't. Still wish I could have got some with the drawers already in them, they opened the bid at $100. I was on pins and needles all day.

How much did the Jet wide belt sander go for?

That one I can't remember since I wasn't really interested. Knew I didn't have place for it. Really wanted the grinder for a dedicated tungsten one.

In the transportation one they had a bad 6T I think it was rotary lift that I'm sure went for dirt cheap. That one was killing me.

Yeap thats the one. Next to the airport and NS yard. Didn't ask why.

Yeah, I know exactly where it is. I work in Huntsville. I had friends that worked there.

It used to be a Chrysler building, then Siemens bought the electronic division of Chrysler, or something like that. Then Continental bought it from Siemens.

I wish I had known about the auction.

Somebody had more recently bought out Continental. I forget the name it changed to, but I had a friend that worked there.
