Ok everyone. I have read through a bunch of catalogs at collecting snap on couldn't find it. I could have missed it and so I was hoping somebody/bodies here could help me out. Take a look at the pics below.
Tool has S-71, snap-on, USA, and Pat NO 1854513 on respective sides of the handle. Under the selector "7120 A" is stamped.
Not so sure if the extra part at the bottom of the handle came that way.
Had a few different coats of paint on it too.:( What is this. Thanks.

I figured it was for equipment. So it came with that handle?
Does this have any collector value?
Thank you for your help.

I am sure the handle is factory, a few of these have shown up, also there is a pic of one in a Snap on catalog.

It might be for aircraft. I know some C-130s come with a modified 1/2" SO ratchet. I think it is used to manually lower the landing gear.

Replace the internals with a regular 1/2-inch drive, and you'd have a handy tool for changing lug nuts after breaking them loose.

I didn't have the ratchet to size it up but my dealer said the same thing that it probably would not line up and wasn't worth guessing.

At home I have a hex-shaped Snap On ratchet plug, which goes from hex to regular 1/2" drive. It's complete with Snap On part numbers. Here is a photo of it:

It has a friction ball on the other size of the 1/2" drive male end. What size is that hex opening? Can you compare it to a 6-point wrench or socket to see? When I get home tonite I'll see what size hex is on this plug.

Wouldn't that be cool if they were the same size? :bounce:

Lump, I just bought the set of four of those. I'll check the 1/2 drive and see if it fits. But it's much deeper than a standard ratcheting wrench.

Sorry for the crappy pics. Part number on the adaptor is RWA2, it was part of a set of four. This one is will accept 3/8 drive sockets.
