It's stamped Craftsman instead of Armstrong, but the old Professional 9/16" combination wrench is only $10.49. It's generally taken as a truth that the old Professional wrenches were made by Armstrong anyway. If it matters, the Craftsman Professional is even fully polished as opposed to Armstrong's satin finish. Yikes indeed.

I believe even the current crop of raised panel Craftsman wrenches are produced by Armstrong.

I've bought some in 2006, then 2 sets in 2011 (returned one) and they were all stamped V^. My fathers, from early 90's, are also stamped the same and weigh exactly the same when weighed on a postage scale.

"V^(2nd V inverted) = Danaher, Armstrong Division, ca. 1992 - 2011"

I carry a set in my tool bag. Very well made, but have extra long handles, so I also carry a set of ratchet stubbies for the tight work....and 'ya know what???

EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE TIGHT!!!!

Funny how I keep my gloves on (one type or another!), more and more these days...tired of all the little cuts and scrapes on my hands.
