Recommendations of good torx set?

Im looking for a fairly completye torx set. What would you guys recommend?

i bout a set on sale from napa got it for 45 it goes up to a t60 wich is usually the biggest youll ever need the set came with regular and tamper proof bits and a set of inverted torx its basicall a kd tools set you can get off amazon i think but ive never seen it as cheap as i got from napa and ive used the **** out of them and havent broken one yet

That is a good set. It's the best value I've seen. But, I couldn't find it in their current flier........http://ecatalograck.genpt.com/pdfcat/RealDeals_1Q_2011_Linked/WebProject.asp?CodeId=7.4.1.1# so I don't think it's on sale right now.

I have used snap on before and they are nice, but my craftsman seem to do me fine being a weekend warrior.

I doubt you'd want bigger than T30 as a screwdriver.

Beleieve it or not Home Depot sells a husky set that has just about every torx and related bit styles. They are pretty decent and if you break one, just go make a stink at Home Depot and they will take it back.

These are great and the price is also excellent! I've had these for about 4 years and they're awesome--used professionally in the automotive field. Not something I use everyday, but still...Craftsman Professional tools are alright sometimes. Depends on what you get, but these I HIGHLY recommend these. The shaft length is the perfect size for raching past obstruction. The tips are also wearing nicely and the handles are comfortable and also let you generate a lot of torque w/o slipping.

I can't see spending a **** load of money on a specific tool set like this. I'm sure most of what's available will "suffice", but you'll come across a few diffferent style grips & lengths. I have a couple shorter Snap On mini-torx screwdrivers for tighter area fasteners, I.E. Vortec 4.3l distributor caps and rotors.

I like the wiha bits in my Snap-on ratcheting screwdriver.

But, I REALLY like my Hazet torx sockets!

I agree with the above--screwdrivers aren't really that efficient for larger torx.

Hazet and Stahlwille are probably the best out there. My big Torx socket drivers are Hazet and Stahlwille, and my 1/2" Torx sockets are Stahlwille. Ungodly strong and an excellent fit.

I've got a set of Craftsmans at the house and a set of Macs at work - I tear them up with about the same frequency. I've had the same t-15 bit with one of my ratcheting Snappies since 94 or 95 if that says anything.
