I was working up in the U.P. the other day, I saw a snap on truck getting fuel, so went and talked to him. Ended up with a green prybar set, and this nice pliers set! The 3 position pliers are awesome!!!

How would they stack up to knipex cobras? I'd assume the cobras are superior for their locking adjustment.

I'd written off slip jaws since entering knipex land.

Bought the orange version on Ebay a short while ago. I'd pick up the green ones but every set I've seen goes for north of $120. Guess I'll have to wait until my truck guy gets them in.

you're right though, those slip joints are great!

Different style of plier. You are thinking of the Channellock or Knipex style (used to call them water pump pliers) and these are the good old two position slip joint that have been updated to have 3 positions instead of 2

Pliers are cool, but show us the pry bars!!! Any deal on the pry bars? They ALWAYS get run up on ebay.

I got a set of these in red. They were on special - about 20+% off. Came in at about $60-something. They're a good basic set.
