One MILLION questions! Newbie

Well maybe not a million...but quite a few. I was researching designing a garage with a drive out lower lever (a basement garage?) and came acroos this site. Lots of great information and truely inspirational garages. My current plans are to fix up current small attached garage (epoxy floor, better lighting, cabinets, etc) and, hopefully this time next year, build the second garage with upper and lower levels. Also looking into adding a mini split HVAC to the finished room over the current attached garage. Will post pictures of my basement shop and current garage soon but wanted to say hello before I started asking for help.

I have already talked to you over in your Mini Split question but for the rest of the crew if you go to the User CP in the upper left of the page you can add your Location to your profile ( You dont have to include city but the state will help alot of us answer your questions having a general idea on Location ) .

As it reads in my confusing intro, I have a two-level home ---- with the upper as the main level. I'm wanting to put the garage in the walkout basement ---- and then add more garage space next to it.

I'll bet that I'll have AT LEAST a million questions ---- by actual count!
