yes,i read that, and i undersand that as far as how long it takes to get it to me.but to ship it after its paid for shouldnt take but 3 or 4 days

Has your card been charged? Amazon does not charge your card until it is processing to ship.

The ad said shipping would be 4 to 6 weeks so I am not sure why you are complaining. Or did you think they were lying?

Dude, come on. No shipping takes 5 weeks. Their obviously going to ship it once they recieve it from their vendor, hence the 5-6 week timeline. They obviously do not have it in stock, and their waiting on their vendor to deliver it to them first.

So i guess what your getting at is I shouldn't of posted the deal. It clearly stated in the ad that they would not ship for a few weeks and here you are complaining about it. Some people................

Im glad you posted the deal:beer: I came home drunk and checked this thread while brushing my teeth. I was one of the first to order after your post so Im hoping they ship.

I just assumed that since it was 3-6 week lead time they were not in stock. As posted earlier, nothing takes that long to process and ship. Most of the time my amazon purchases take 2-3 days to arrive and their vendors take 2-6 depending on where they are at in the country.

If it was not a great deal I wouldnt have bothered with it but at less than $10 a set, I figured why not? I wont start complaining till about the 8 week mark at the price they were giving them away at. Im not sure why someone would start at just over a week?:headscrat when it clearly states the time frame. I havent been billed yet, but I wish they would, so they felt obligated to sell them at that price.

I for one and tickled sh!tless that you posted the deal. A hearty and sincere Thank you!

I read and comprehended the shipping times, didn't have any kind of problem with it, and ordered one of each of the three different sets. For basically a 90% discount with free shipping, it could have stated a 6 month delivery time and I'd have still placed the order.

I already have a half decent selection of files now and can't really anticipate any life or death immediate needs for the new file sets anytime in the near future.

I mean, it's not like, "Oh, if only Amazon had shipped the files quicker and we had gotten the files in a week, we could have prevented the zombie apocalypse and saved hundreds of millions of lives..." :lol_hitti

Some bad news on the Nicholson files. The Handyman set for $6.75 or something that was mentioned a few days ago has arrived. I'm not quite sure what to say. The pouch is marked "Assembled in USA" blah blah USA, Mexico, Columbia blah blah. The USA made 8" ******* file is the only one I'd want to own. The others look like nothing I've seen from Nicholson before. If you told me they were factory 3rds or 4ths or from the training shift, I still might not believe it.

I'll take a closer look in the daylight tomorrow, but at this point I already feel I over payed and will likely be canceling my order for the thread files and the ergo handles. I already have decent files and don't even want to deal with the possibility of more Nicholson **** arriving and needing to be sent back.

Not bad!

Just a warning, if you see a penny item, try to purchase it at a self-serve register. If a cashier sees the penny price, the item will be confiscated as they're not allowed to sell the item to you as it's been delisted or something like that.

I feel your pain. I too have taken it in the shorts for posting deals here, only to have people ***** about how they didn't like the deal or the product.

IGNORE THEM. I'm very thankful to all who post deals. I assume it's UP TO ME to do my due diligence, and see whether I like the deal or not.

When I'm posting, I'm not making a recommendation! For Pete's sake! It's an alert that the readers can choose to check out, or not.

So again, thank you Low Crew, and please keep posting. To the ankle biters: Shut up!

PS: Getting hard to find the deals in this thread, with all the discussion of shipping.

What say we get back to POSTING DEALS?

I'm not sure I'd go quite that far. I do appreciate it when someone weighs in on the quality of an item.

Why wouldn't you want to hear input if an item is a good deal vs. just cheap ****?

I do agree that people should not ***** about deals.

We have a saying among my friends to call out those exhibiting poor behavior, "dude, you're being a ****". That is usually enough to stop things in their tracks before it becomes an issue. I think we all can recognize these signs.

People just need to stop taking things personally, but please, please, please... don't stop posting the deals!

Heck That *****, I just ordered the thread files and 2 of the 5 piece sets with the ergo handles.
I was hoping they would be decent.
Thanks,
Tony

Yes, this was my concern with this deal. I've gotten some Bosch ship auger bits very cheap through Amazon, with the same kind of lead time, and they were horribly dull. Probably shipped directly from the reject bin.

Please keep us apprised, as I too would prefer to cancel my order before shipment, if that is indeed the case.

Sears is having another sale.

Here's another Sears coupon you could try to stack. I didn't have any luck with it a week ago.

Just tried this and said I could only use one code. Did I do something wrong?
I am price shopping autozone as well. I would imangine that saving 50 bucks on orders over 200 and free shipping would beat sears hands down. You never know though.

Thanks

I've noticed that 'TLSTHANKS' doesn't work on all items, if I recall it doesn't work on 'online only pricing' items. Make sure you select "Sears only" when searching for items too. You should be able to stack both SEARS2011 and TLSTHANKS, I have a couple items in my cart without a problem.

Heres the link for anyone that wants to look at the autozone deal too.
