After a false start a few months ago (put in AC instead)I did place the order for Budget Bob. I figure I might as well be the one to go out on a limb and try it. After you folks see how great this product is you can all pay my one dollar to offset the cost.

No really, I'll keep you all posted. He claims that acid ectch is not necessary, but I will probably do it anyhow. Wish me luck.

I'll be interested in how this goes for you, he's not too far away from me and I'll be ready for floor painting this spring.

Just a small update. The order was finally sent out on Friday the 5th, so order time to shipping was not what I would call fast. To boot it is being sent by a commercial carrier (Conway) so no tracking number. We'll see.

" MOST OF THE PRODUCT WILL SHIP OUT OF SOUTH CAROLINA BY DHL CARRIER OR FREIGHT ON LARGE ORDERS... "

" Many Items Can Be Picked Up or Delivered in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or New York State ! "

Look forward to seeing the updates.

This update should probably go under the gallery section but here it goes.

The stools: Alltrade brand that look good, are well built but that's about it. Not the most comfortable to sit on. We're thinking they might be better with the backs off so we will see.

As for the tv, well that's a Costco special that we had outside this summer and so I told my wife that it needs to come inside for the winter, but come spring the story will be that I don't want to take it down because I'm afraid that I might damage it. Hopefully she buys that so then I can get a brighter LCD screen for the patio.

In the meantime the kids can play some crazy XBOX game called Dance Dance blah blah blah out in the garage instead of the house.

As for the crack repairs. Well I am not the most proud of them. We were down to the last of the flakes and so they were not as big as originally so I am not real proud of my fix. Next year when the weather warms up I'll sand it off properly and then be proud of my work.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Hmmm... I'm in contact with BudgetBob right now, looking to follow your lead. I wonder if I can put any kind of clear coat on there for my showroom bay, or does it have to be something special to adhere?
