Did some trading and picked this John Deere F935 diesel with ony 750 hours on it. This mower sat outside for who knows how long. It was in good working condition, just ugly. This was my winter project. let see them mowers.

Nice job. That JD looks brand new ! I restored a 112 and a 316 for my own use over the years but I cant find the pictures. Im pissed that I cant find them, they looked good and I'd like to post them.

Good job on the resto. We have the smaller gas version, F725 I think, at work. I'd like to get one for home, but I saw one the other day on CL for $3000, and that's too much for my small yard. I've always liked the articulated early Bolens, or the rear steer front mower machines.

Wow!!!! Great job on the resto. I need to find the pics of my JD318. Yours looks like a new one. I can imagine what you have in it though. JD items cost a little chunk-o-change to replace. I had a few hundred in mine in parts. Seat, decals, etc. add up real fast

Have you got to use it yet or just waiting? I think mine is coming out this weekend either to roll, mow, or both. Supposed to hit 80 on Sunday. WhooHoo!!!!!!!

Very nice. Ive been looking for one of those cheap for years to do exactly as you did. Those are very nice mowers, hope you enjoy it and feel proud.

Wow! Great job. It's hard to believe that is the same mower as the before shots it looks new. I don't see a cup holder, where does your beer go?

Nice work - the decals make the difference! Is that a 68 Firebird hiding in the garage?

Yes I kept shelling out more cash as I went. Previous owner bought seat to close the deal. Decals about $200, blasting $250, rollbar $100 (craigs list), primmer and paint $200, same tires dont match but good tread. Started with $1500 in it and ended up under $3000 but not by much. Yes a 68 firebird. Thanks for all great comments, Keith.

Awesome! You have alot of hours in that resto- it shows. Isn't it amazing how some let their equipment go like that??

nice mower.i like stamped decks, they give a really nice cut.be careful though,a 72" can scalp pretty easy.be careful with the gearbox on top of the deck.if you hit anything with the blades that might be the weak point in the system, kinda like walker mowers.

nice job on the resto.
