For the past 30 years or so - "the Garage" was the place that Classic, Collectible and Special Interest Cars were Refreshed or Restored - then housed. Along the way lots of valuable stuff - like good used spares were accumulated. So three 8 ft. sections of Package Racking were added... More storage space = more stuff kept.

Living in Florida, our Daily Drivers sat outside - in front of the house. In the 90's my wife drove a Ford Explorer, then from 2000 to now, she drove a Yukon XL. This year the space and utility of the SUV's no longer needed - my wife decided to get a new car - something sporty. Oh yes - and she actually wanted to park it IN THE GARAGE!!

So it was past time to clean house - so to speak. The garage floors were oil stained and pretty dirty. Not something she would appreciate walking over - before getting in her new car.

The best solution I could find was Race Deck flooring. Putting it down was by far the easiest part of the Garage Make-Over.

Below are a couple of "before" and "after" shots. If you want the whole story see:

I have to say that I was very impressed with the service provided by Race Deck. I used their "Design-On-Line" Web Page - which generated an exact order. The order was shipped promptly and everything was received correctly the first time. Once the area was cleared in the Garage - putting the floor down was a snap :)

FWIW,
Carl B.

Carl,
Thank you for choosing RaceDeck... You garage ( a.k.a. Z shop ) looks fantastic! :rocker:

Thanks Jorgen - Dealing with Race Deck was a real pleasure. Sales, service and follow-though were excellent all around. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Now if Drive-way pavers were only so easy..

regards,
Carl

What did something like that cost? Per square footage? Seen good things with these floorings, maybe I will consider going the same route over epoxy.

The BRE Datsun is so damn cool...

Thanks 4t64rd! Everyone has their dream cars.. The BRE Z was, and now is one of mine. Took 10 years to find it - then about 4 years to restore it - once I got started.

I bought my first 240Z in March of 1970 and I've been driving them ever since.

Carl B, Not sure how I missed this back in April, but, Wow! That garage looks great and that BRE is cool. I love my RD flooring as well, but your colors are cooler.
