Just purchases a house and I want to get it ready for epoxy in the next few weeks. It has this crack/cracking going on near the front of the garage near the garage door threshold. What would be the best way to rectify this situation? Im new to this whole concrete fixing thing so any info would be appreciated. Looking forward to starting a progress thread :bounce:

that is just inside the garage door. The metal "rail" is pretty much the garage door threshold.

Remove the metal, use a concrete saw (rental) to cut out the damaged cement (chisel inside lines after making nice cut) and then use hydraulic cement to fill the hole

I would like to add a thumbs up to the Legacy product. This stuff rocks, hard as a rock and I found that if you try to chip off the stuff you drip on the concrete will actually chip the concrete trying to knock it off. I have never had any patching concrete stick that well, polymer modified, hydraulic, or any other portland cement based product.

Just as an aside, are you going to be installing anything into the concrete? If so you really need to consider new slabs totally. If not, disregard this message.:shocking:
