This is BS. Other people who ordered this set AFTER I did already got this set. I was prepared to have them cancel the order up front. If they had I would have shrugged my shoulders and said "Bummer". But this is BS. First time I am unhappy with Amazon.

This set was ordered early in the first round. I ordered the same set in the second round and that order has not been cancelled yet.

I am just irked that they shipped out to people who ordered AFTER I did, but then cancelled my order.

I am in the same boat. I have been waiting for my order for weeks and when I saw that others were getting their orders I checked on mine. No luck

No, I ordered 80 of them.

Kidding! I did order 5. I ordered 5 of another set too and got those.

I"m still waiting for two sets, but my confidence level is a lot lower since your post.

The time line on my orders was a little strange.

I placed my first order on March 19th for one each of the three different sets. I opted for the free shipping as I always do.

Then on April 7th during File Fest 2, I placed an additional order for one more set of the ones with handles and two more sets of the ones with the file cards. My plan was to use these three sets as Christmas gifts for a few friends later this year.

On April 12, I received the set with handles from the March 19th order.

Yesterday, on April 15th, I received the other two sets from the March 19th order, the set with the file card, the maint set with no handles, >>AND<< a set of the one with the file card from the April 7th order in the same box!

Is it normal for Amazon to ship items from different orders together? In over twelve years of ordering from them, I've never had that happen before.

At any rate, I'm still waiting on them to ship a set with the handles and a set with the file card from my April 7th order. I just checked the website and they haven't reached the "getting ready for shipping" level yet. I'm guessing that they probably never will now. Two of my friends will get lumps of coal this Christmas. :(

Hey, cheer up. I guess that neither of us can really ***** though. In all honesty, we both made out like fat cats. :thumbup:

Don't forget the thread file deal either. That was pretty sweet too.

I ordered the Ergo handle (along with the maintenance file set) set on March 20. I've had my maintenance set for awhile, but the Ergo set hasn't shipped (estimates April 19-May 4 delivery). At least I scored the one set already.

I guess I won't be holding my breath for the Ergo set . . .

I've had it happen twice now. It seems to only happen when both items are coming from the same warehouse and you place the orders in a correct sequence that both orders get in the queue before either of them is grabbed off the shelf by the robots.

Damn that blows for those not getting their files. I got the maintenance and machinist set on the 4/12 and the ergonomic handle set on 4/14.

Amazon should do the honorable thing and satisfy the open orders at the prices they advertised. Has anyone tried to escalate this issue through customer service?

Mine is still saying not yet shipped, but it may ship tomorrow. I ordered in the first round as well - I sure hope it comes through.

I ordered a 3 sets (1 of each on special) on 4/8 and I haven't received an email yet but Amazon shows the order has not shipped.

Also ordered 1 set on 4/5. Now email and shows they haven't shipped either.
