I can't find the propper name to search and buy the device you put on the end of your air tools coupler to keep dust from getting in them? I have several nailer hanging upside down and don't want dust getting in there.
Please help me find out where to order or buy some!
Thanks,

Best reason I can see for having them is to keep mud wasps/dirt daubers out of the fittings. I have to plug my unused air hoses together and also my extension cords (ground pin hole is attractive to them buggers too).

Seems like a neat idea but I've been using some of the same sanders/ impacts for 10+ years and they only get a few drops of oil every now and again with no problems.

X2. Never even thought of capping my air tools. Someday, I'll build one of those racks like they used to have at one fo the parts houses for their display of airtools, a row of female couplers screwed to a piece of angle iron ought to do the trick.

That's some great tips guys. I need to cap mine off because of the wood working work I do in my garage. I am just worried about saw dust getting in there and ruining my nail guns.
Now I have a tough choice, go to Harbor Freight or Jegs? This is like Apple pie or Cheese cake????

if dirt daubers are able to build a nest in them, then you need to sell your air tools 'cause you don't use them enough.

Seriously! Mine just sit in my toolbox and my compressor is under my porch due to lack of space and I have never had any insects other than spiders try to make a home of them. Im sure the compressor pulleys can deal with insects. the intake ports have filters over them.

Air tools should grind up and spit out any insects that make them home. Mud wasps should not be making homes in your shop anyways:shocking:
