I am putting ProVent and Windblock in my garage rafters - this is the plastic attic baffles which are paper thin.

My Porter-Cable air stapler works great, but the smallest length staple I could find (and smallest recommended) for the stapler is 1/2".

I have to back them out too far to install the Windblock and ProVent on my garage. I am stapling into 1/2" OSB.

All of the reviews I read on the electric and manual staplers at Lowes and Home Depot seem to say that they are junk - but
Can I get (or does anyone know of) an air stapler that will shoot something like 1/4" staples?

Thanks,
Beri

BTW - should I dare try this one?

shoots 5/32" staples

I used an Arrow electric stapler with 1/4 or 3/8 inch staples. Worked fine. Using a hammer stapler was awkward at best. Not enough room to swing it properly.

Cheers

Yep - I looked at the Hammer Tackers and they probably are good on carpet, but I don't think I can swing them enough around the soffit vent area to work.

I could not get mine to work on insulation. It would go through the paper or would not go flush.
