Dewalt 12v max vs Milwaukee M12

I currently have a Dewalt 12v max 3/8 impact and light, and I couldnt be happier with it. Recently I realized that Milwaukee offers a LOT more tools in their 12v line, if anyone has the Milwaukee M12 stuff, any input is welcome. Basically I like the idea of having the option for a sawzall, inspection camera if needed, etc... Thank you

I have the little sawzall and the drill with the M12 batteries. I am an electrician and use them daily and well within what they are intended for and I am less than impressed with the battery quality. I have 4 batteries and after 8 months of use, only 1 will accept a charge. I used to love milwaukee, but there new batteries are extremely disappointing.

Ergonomics of DeWalt 12V Max leaves everything else in dust. I have the impact wrench and it is great for under hood or dash work. It can even be abused to take the lug nuts off. I took the gun with me during my last garage visit. After the mechanic used his air gun to tighten the wheel, I took out my DeWalt. When they saw the "girly gun", they were laughing at me. But when I took the bolt off after banging for few seconds, they were impressed. As a matter of fact, I had to write the details of the gun including model number and the web site for them.

I'm a huge fan of Dewalt's 12V Max line, especially their ergonomics, and like that Milwaukee is constantly releasing new tools for the M12 line.

Dewalt has an inspection camera, but its ungodly expensive, as far as the batteries on my Dewalt set, they are awesome. Ive had it for 6 months, and i can use the gun all day, for 2-3 days straight without swapping/charging. I just like the option to have a handy little saw for certain things, and I heard that Milwaukee is coming out with M12 cordless ratchets

i have the m12 and i love it, ive used the dewalt and i like it too
but the m12 fit my hands really well
but the m12 system has its claws in me, up next haxall

I have 5 pieces of the Milwaukee M12 line, the 1/4" impact driver, 3/8" impact wrench, the screwdriver, the scanner and the flashlight. I dig them a lot, I've not had any of the battery issues listed thus far, but I don't use them all everyday, but I do have 8 batteries.

I too dig the DeWalt 12V MAX mucho, but the grip is too small, when I wrap my hand aroud the grip, my hand is cramped between the motor of the unit and the top of the battery area, so its a no go. If the grip was only 3/8" taller I'd own them.

I have the M12 impact driver,hex driver,drill,grease gun and radio. I like the options of tools in the M12 line and that you can use the regular batteries or the XC batteries. With the Dewalt your stuck with the big battery.
I only wish ther impact wrench was 1/4 sqaure instead of 3/8, but I'll probably buy it and the ratchet when released.
The M12 radio is really awesome for such a small package. My wife really likes it as it will fit on our narrow kitchen window sill without any overhang. She also wants the hackzall for tree and bush pruning.

So warranty them out, and then get back to us to report if it was a fluke or a characteristic.

Meanwhile, I want to know about the hacksaw. I'm sure it will cut rubber hose, but would it cut steel braided rubber hose? (hydraulic hose) I'm tired of having to wear a respirator and fighting with a 3" cutoff tool.
