hmm.. that sounds like destroyed thrust bearings waiting to happen... harmonic balancers are usually slowly pressed on either with high temperature differences or a puller/installer.

I'm pretty sure he is just talking about the lisle tool for removing tight balancer bolts, not for removing/installing the balancer?

It's a sort of "right angle impact"

Whoops, my bad, i've never seen a tool like that, probably works great for tight spaces. Just go ahead and disregard everything I said previously! :lol_hitti
