So getting ready to do the other half of my garage floor with Epoxy, there were a few spots that were beading up water after etching so I assumed some oil contamination or coating and hit them with a grinder (not diamond but a 7 inch concrete grinder disc from Lowes) and it mad the spots smoother than they were after acid etching. Think I need to re etch these with acid to roughen them up? They feel like a finished floor now not one that's prepped for epoxy. I hate to get the floor wet again because I'll have to wait for it to dry - might make it impossible to get to this weekend. Was thinking hitting them with a sand blaster instead. What do you think?
