You guys have been so welcoming!
And so, I wanted to pose a question...what do you think of when someone asks you about Lista?
I'm just trying to figure out what kinds of features and benefits you guys care about.

Is it overall product quality? Testimonials? Density? Capacity?

Maybe after I get some answers I can take some cool photos, or you can post them, that illustrate some of these things.

Please don't think of this post as spam, I'm just trying to learn about our brand as I go.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Linda,

The thing I like about mine are that the are bullet proof. I can't imagine what you would need to put in them to break one. Truck brand boxes feel so flimsy in comparison. I prefer the old style with the ball bearing rather than the new rollers though. The fact you can get a customised one built is a real bonus too.

Cheers, Stephen

To me, the brand means European design, but built right here in 'Merica. I hate to buy ChiCom stuff if I can avoid it.

Rugged, built to last a lifetime, yet still attractive.

I like the ability to customize the drawer count and size, and the feeling that they will be the last cabinets I'll ever have to buy.

Other benefits are that they are part of a larger system, so you can get matching oddments as your needs change or grow. The long-term presence in the market means that there is a hope that I will be able to get a reliable parts supply if I ever need that.

I am not a professional tech.

When I think Lista I think "solid" and "strong". I think the sound of an older Lista drawer closing is sound like a vault closing. I think it should be cared for the way that Harley Davidson cares for the sound of their engines.

as good as your product is , they can not be moved while erroneously overloaded and not dedrawed [ my own term feel free to use it , basically the loaded drawers left in while being forklifted around] without the resulting racking that will ensue............love em but some people should not be allowed near them as they are heavy enough to invite abuse............if you really want to show people how versatile your product is, make sure they inderstand that wide deep big drawers are for light bulky things, not the heaviest mother effin things they can fit in there cause they can.........yes i am not impressed with our stores people, idiots.........

I am very new to the Lista family (been almost two weeks since I got mine) but I really like the quality. I just wish there was a way to open more than one drawer at a time. Kinda frustrating when you are looking for something to have to close every drawer completely before you can open another.

Hi there omr,
We have pricing on our ListaBox.com site. However, since we work with distributors they would be the ones that would provide you with the pricing. You can find a distributor taht covers your zip code by clicking on this link: http://www.listaintl.com/files/locator.aspx

I hope this helps!

Thanks! I like that analogy :)

Hi Frank,
Why don't you reach out to John? He might be able to help you. However, I'm sure you know why we don't want more than one drawer opening at a time. As tatra mentioned, people put all kinds of big bulky things in the drawers, so if more than one was open you would mroe than likely get crushed as the cabinet tipped over...we don't want that :)

Hi tatra, if you have any photos of what people put in the drawers I'd love to see them. We are planning on doing a series of videos of the types of things you can fit in the drawers, from big and bulky items to ones that are light but simply take up a lot of space.

Having represented Lista as a distributor now for 9 years, there's no other modular drawer cabinet I would recommend. I recently fought tooth and nail to win a maintenance room project. 440# drawer capacity, flush drawer handles, Swiss engineered but Made in the USA, and most importantly Lifetime Warranty. Those key features won it.

If a prospective client has never experienced Lista product, the best thing you can do is take them to an existing client, show them the cabinet, and then let them open and close the drawers. It also helps when you step over into the drawer too (with your client's permission, of course)! ;)

As proof, I had a client with a cabinet that was over 25 years old. He was experiencing problems with a drawer. Lista sent new drawer hardware, no problem.

I've worked with several GJ members for their Lista requirements and happy to help many more.

I'm a huge fan of Lista and proud owner of it as well!

Listas. I can't afford them for myself although I woulkd like to have a few, but we use them at work and as far as I 'm concerned they are the Cadillac of the cabinets. Many different sizes and many different configurations along with the dividers for sorting things out. They are built like a tank. We had to move a few 5' tall ones around and even without the drawers in them, it still took three of us to get them into position. If I had the money, I'd have about 6 of them in the garage. I just can't see the grand apiece or so that they command. Not that they aren't worth it, just out of my range. to me, Lista is #1.

If you want someone's impression of a Lista that's never seen one in person but has read a lot about them on this board and others, when I hear Lista I think incredibly solid, overbuilt even, large, wide, deep, and all the toolbox you'll ever need.

When i was first introduced to Lista, at work, back in the early 90s, I always wanted it for my garage... well a few years ago, I made that dream happen. Took a long time, but it was worth the wait.

Limda... I have several of the "light green" Lista cabinets and lockers which are begining to show their age after years of sterling duty in the machine shop.

Where can I get the paint code so that i can freshen them up for many more years of service?

Thank you

I like them too but don't consider them "toolboxes". I think of them as more of parts storage since that's what I saw most of the time with them working at the dealer level. The special tools also were locked in a Lista cabinet at night. Still I'd never consider it a real "toolbox" rollaway.

Oh my goodness, these postings never got sent to me! Rutmaster I believe the code you are reffering to is the GG. That's the only one I have in my files...
I hope I'm not WAY too late on this reponse.

I think high quality, but very very high price and limited accessibly to purchase. Seems like prices are impossible to get honestly ,I can get ball park prices, but I would be counting pennies to get Lista and I would want to know far in advance exactly what I was in for with out wasting the time of a sales rep. In other word I want to be able to internet search and comparison shop like I have for hours online as I look for a 72" box between the truck brands.
