Street glides got passenger pegs instead of footboards
street glide has one inch lower shocks on the rear
most of the time a street glide has a sleeker seat on it and that's probably about it. They've also got a little different tailight set up on them that looks better and a fender extension on the rear plus saddlebag fillers, a sportier electraglide is really what they are. very popular bikes I like them a lot and Lambeau that is a very nice bike ya got there. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

What is the difference in the street glide and the Electra Glide again? Looks almost the same?

The Electra Glide standard no longer exists. Basically HD finally figured out that if they took a standard, added all the stuff most people added anyway, and then raised the price $6000, they would sell.
They are nice looking.

Boss at work has a StreetGlide that he claims to have $38,000 ******* in.

Nice! I have a 2010 SESG (see avatar) and I love it. I installed J&M Speakers and the 250W amp and it works great. Enjoy the new ride!

Great bike! I replaced my 2005 Electra Glide with a 2007 Street Glide. LOVE it! Been riding over 50 years and many different bikes, but my heart is with H-D and this is by far, the best I've ever had! Added a Power Commander and a two into on Rinehart and a stage 1 air cleaner! It does a good job!!

Is the amp worth the money? Sounds pretty good now. On the highway not as loud as I would like. If I may ask, what did you pay for the amp? How was the installation?

Nice bike man!!

I'm looking for some stock streetglide shocks to put on my 2003 Police Road King to lower it. If anyone has any take off shocks they would like to sell let me know. I think they are about 11".

I installed the j&m 250w amp along with the j&m 7.25" speakers and they sound great even at highway speeds. I paid around $400 for the amp and installation was plug & play.

Good luck,
Mike

That 's not a Roadglide for sale in that ad- Roadglide has a different front fairing-the fairing is also fixed meaning when you turn the handlebars the fairing doesn't move-like a Honda Goldwing.
To the OP- real nice bike. I just recently moved up from an 1200XLC to a Road King Classic.Night and day.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

2010 Electra Glide Ultra Limited...
Red over black ... I love the 103" and 6 speed
Jim

Sounds Nice, I'll bet the 6 speed is nice.
I did actually go from a 30 to a 31 front sprocket on my Sportster, Big improvement.
Think I gotta get me onto a dresser.
Here is my 02 XL and me before I got FAT!
Worse part about it is I thought I was sort of Fat then,
I would Love to be back down to that size now.

Thanks,
Tony

Thanks,
Guess He don't know what he got.
No price either, Then they say serious inquiries only.
I never road one with a fixed fairing, but it seems like it would be weird.

Thanks,
Tony

Keep looking- there's TONS of used Harleys out there- some are way overpriced but some have pretty eager sellers.
Got my 98 Road king Classic, 11,000 miles, ALOT of chrome and performance upgrades, Hd jack, cover, 2 Corbin seats, manuals and countless other things for 8k.
Deals are def out there- It's summer now so I used my heating/insulation money to pay for the bike--- let's hope I make up the diff before winter sets in!!
