Nice work. I live in Oklahoma City and hope to relocate to the rural outskirts in the next few years. Then I will be able to build a shop.

Very nice build. Sure it's in Oklahoma though? I have driven thru there several times and never did see one tree let a lone a forest like you have.

Looks good and congrats, I just put in an offer on a property east of Sooner north of Waterloo, has a pole barn without electric or floor but I can handle that if the bank(s) (2 notes) will take my offer and hopefully not force the owner into bankruptcy and sheriff sale the property.
Keep the pics coming when you do the inside.

got a good 6 or 7 mo. in this thing . cant swing a dead cat without hit a tree, You must have been in Kansas. but lots of fire wood..I'm just north of Edmond and west of I-35. hope it turns out on the property bid, nice area..Compressor outside keeps it quite inside. hope my wall last a good long time, it does have landscaping mat behind it and it is treated and covered in creosote..when I get more money I can do more for now I'm workin' in there..

That area is nice. My brother in law has an acre with a real nice house on it on rte 66 on your way to POPS. More and more people are building out there. I used to live 2 miles north of Waterloo on Broadway.

Did you buy a kit from someone local?

What toys are going in it?

Great looking build. The only thing I see missing is gutters. With built up soil like that I would think that I would want to get the water out of there and also prevent the rain from dripping right in front of the door on those warm rainy days you want to work with the doors open.

Oklahoma is kind of interesting. You will see huge areas that don't have a tree one (or so it seems). When you get closer you find out that all of the low areas and areas along the creeks can be covered in trees. I've got a hunting lease north of Enid that if you approach from the north you see nothing but grass. If you approach from the south you see a lot of trees.

I'm just 2 1/2 mi. north of Waterloo on Broadway.. I got the building in Kit form from BCI builders ,they gave me a great price and delivered for less than the material would have cost me piece by piece. . and they supplied everything I needed.

gutters are on my list...

It already has several motorcycles in it and I also do paint and body work .

You are a stones throw from where I lived in late elem and junior high. Small world. Thanks for the info. Have fun finishing it up and getting to work on the toys. Take care.

Just checked their site. It's nice that they are an Oklahoma company. Did your price include concrete? Did you get an estimate for them to do the work vs you doing it?

Thanks for answering all the questions. This site is great for info.

I got prices from many different builders, and they gave me the best price. 36x50x14 with walk door and 12' slider for 7400.00 delivered. 13000.00 if they install it. They didn't miss a thing in their kit. even colored screws and enough material to allow a few foul ups. even a video. did not include concrete ,but i have a close friend that does it for a living and helped me with that. just paid for the concrete to be delivered. I've got some good friends and family that helped with the build and it came out pretty good for people with no real build background. at no point did I hire anyone for anything.. even the dirt was a buddy with dump trucks..if you do some searching for the deals it can be done for a fair price..

when I said under 14000.00 that was railroad ties for wall, dirt, sand, concrete, building, insulation, all electrical material, lights, fuel ,beer, etc.and food to feed my help...

Thanks for the breakdown. That's a great price even if they put it up. A buddy has $21/sq ft in his shop and that's what I had priced out this spring.
