I got a irobot for xmas for our hardwood floors in the house. With 5 dogs, and a sandy loam landscape, just running it once a day makes a heck of a difference!.

Highly recommended, even at $200-$300 .

I have the superior I wife model.
It came with entertainment features, and can if necessary be self supporting.
Requires neither a docking station or electricity, other than for charging the onboard communication portal.
The I wife model also cooks & does the dishes.

Most importantly, can the "talk back" feature be disable? :p123

I have the model with the docking station. It's my favorite part along with the front and rear bumpers. :lol_hitti

Blues, I was trying to keep it at a more cerebral level.

I have the model that is not only self funding, she is working hard to support me in the manner I wish to become accustomed to.

I didn't bother with the voice disable, I can just detune the hearing for the soprano range.

While my iWife model does plenty of cooking and cleaning, she also vacuums my bank account. Contacted the manufacturer about this bug but evidently I have to down grade back to the iFiancee or iGirlfriend model to avoid this "feature" and even then there were no guarantees!

I just put the dust mask on once a month and get the leaf blower out.

I prefer the iWife approach... It really *****. Leaf units just blow...
<bowing> Thank you, I'll be here all week, the 9:00 show is completely different from the 11:00 show. Please tip your waitresses folks.

I tipped a waitress for a few years. It was fun. She made enough tip money in 7 months to buy herself a new Datsun B 210.
She cooked real good and made bread too.
She even came with an Electrolux vacuum of her own, and used it twice a week.
That was a long time ago.

I always wondered how good they were. Seems like the hard flat garage floor would be perfect for them.

Mine completely refuses hard cold surfaces!

The unwary may also be maimed by the broom swatting feature used on flys and disobediant pets(I have 7 Yorkies and they also know this).Mine has an overactive bank balance depleting feature and also speaks english, spanish, some french and some italian,so I can be corrected, made fun of and/or berated in mutiple languages. Her automotive IQ is quite low however(anyone got a set of glow plugs for a 2.2 Benz deisel) and though she pays the AAA bill always calls the sleeping marital partner to repair a flat or jumpstart the car she left the lights on in.

""she pays the AAA bill always calls the sleeping marital partner to repair a flat or jumpstart the car she left the lights on in.""

That's a somewhat universal feature. In models equipped with advanced education, the call follows the logic path of asking if the warranty package from the dealer includes flat tire change. Then she offers to get the spare out while I'm on the way. AAA well yes, she does still have that, do they change flats?
How do she call AAA? "Really, OK, I'll call you back and tell you what they say." Of course I should still respond anyhow.
She also has to abandon all plans for the rest of the day to go to the tire shop and get the flat repaired, because she won't drive on no damn donut.

But, she's the woman I want to annoy for the rest of my life, and I DON'T understand.
I am so glad I don't understand.

I use an iMaid for this service - paid for by my iWife - pretty good at the cleanup, also does washing and ironing, window and floor washing, general tidying up and assorted other functions on an 'as requred' basis. (keep it clean now lads...)

I highly reccomend these tools, especially when combined with the closely related tools, iNanny and iGardener, which are amongst my most valued assets.

You should however make sure you use a quality tool, which will give you a lifetime of good service, or they will be more trouble than they are worth, and will disapoint you at the most critical time.

iStop now before its too late...

Better unsubscribe to this thread Boys, otherwise you-all will be automatically upgraded to the iX model.

You'll be surprised of the dirt it brings up. Then things really begin to **** - it will clean your clock and the iLawyer payments will start. In the end the bag is full and you don't have a garage to clean any longer.

Beware.
