Okay, so this definitely deserves it's own post.
So back on post #334, in response to someone asking what I was going to put on the shelves, I had remarked:

I am totally flooring by 'Wingnut65's generosity. I was 'dreaming' about having a radio of this caliber and beauty up on the shelves, but with the budget of the garage (and the new baby), I didn't think it was going to happen for a long, long time.
A HUGE thank you goes out to Wingnut for his amazing contribution to the '1950s Garage'. He definitely didn't ask me to post about it or where it came from, but I thought sooner or later someone would want to know the story behind this GORGEOUS radio that resides on the shelves.
This forum continues to amaze me. Some real stand-up gentleman on here, that's for sure, with Wingnut leading the pack.
