It has been maybe 20 years since I have painted a car and a buddy of mine wants me to shoot his mid 80s flat bed truck and after that I am thinking of doing my 92 4x4 Ford Ranger. I have been looking at several Spray gun sets that will only get used on 5 maybe 10 cars, so high end high production Pro stuff does not quite fit the bill here. Anyone have any experience with the Vapor Titan guns? I am looking at there 3 gun kit and I am also looking at the a TCP Global gun kit as well as the Devilbiss Starting line Kit.....

Even though I have looked at the Multi Gun kit from HF and it looks good in the pictures, I do not like the plastic paint cups and do not trust there reviews on the item....

I have had the Titans for about 6 yrs now. Its got to be about the best gun set for the price out there. I will say the little touch up gun worked 1 time had hasnt since than but the bigger guns have been perfect.Ive probally paint 40 vehicles with it ranging from trucks and cars to tractors. I do recomend getting the filters and a maintenace/cleaning kit for it also. Ive also heard great things about the Starter line stuff as well but no experience with them. When the Titans decide to quit I'll probally step up to the Devilbiss line.

Vaper/Titan guns are only good for primers and single stage for base well now waterbase and clear they dont work good. i would spend more and get a good one. even the $60 Husky guns spray clear beter. $150- 200 can get you a nice gun spend more then $50 for a gun

I have the elcheapo 14 dollar gun from Hf. it dose well for stains and clears. but if you use a paint like Rustolum you have to thin it and take the filter out

Used it to shoot 2k primer, single stage and also painted 2 separate vehicles with John Deere Blitz Black (Hot Rod Black). The gun sprayed wonderfully for all of these. I have the one with attached pressure regulator/gauge. $25 from princess auto right now (canadian equivalent of HF). I haven't tried to spray bc.cc yet so I can't speak to that. I'm curious as well as I have 4 more cars lined up to do and those will be bc/cc
