The new Sears tool catalog came today. 190 pages of beautifully displayed power and hand tools along with some pretty neat storage systems. I know it isn't Snap-on but, it ain't bad either.

Interesting. :headscrat

I went to my local Sears on Saturday and asked for a copy of the catalog. The young lady said they no longer print a catalog, it is online digital only. :shocking:

Apparently they are misinformed there, or just don't give a ****. I can't find anywhere on craftsman.com to order a print catalog, either.

Received the catalog the other day. Looks like the blue team is gone and the old format is back.

They send me one quarterly, and Ive never bought anything from it or even signed up for it. They must have gotten my name and stuff from in store purchases.

The 'thin profile' ones are everywhere. I haven't see the Premium Grade ratchets in the store yet, only online and ebay or forums.

I wish I had the foresight at age 4 that I do now, lol.
Besides, I used to draw throughout my catalogs so they would not be too good of a reference :)

Question for Sears catalogs of the past. Didn't they have S&K in their catalogs last year or was it 09???

Didn't see anything in their from them this year, is that because they are back in production now?

Also I didn't see any swivel impacts or or my eyes deceiving me???

Looked at it online, thanks for the link.

Did anyone else notice the "MADE IN THE USA" is gone from the catalog? No info on origin of anything. So sad.

They are not available at all Sear's locations.

I think it's more accurate to say they are not available at the vast majority of locations. I think very few have them, and I think I have actually seen one exactly one time at the sole Sears in my area that do stock them. I use 'stock' loosely, as they must only get like 2 of each size when they come in.

Adding "USA" or "Internationally Sourced" would sure make my day. I don't begrudge the foreign tools; I just want to have that information to assist in my selection.

The 2008-2009 Sears catalog was the last one to have SK's until the current 2010-2011 catalog.

Page 116 of teh 2010-2011 catalog shows the current selection of swival impacts, although I;d guess the selection of all SK tools will grow now that production has ramped up.

Got my catalog today. Kinda disappointed that everything I want to get my hands on is online only or neither of my stores has then in stock. My stores seem to keep plenty of the evolv stuff, but the wera, wiha, knipex stuff is nowhere to be found :(

Many of the stores are now stocking the Knipex tools per their arrangement. Not the full line, but there is a Sears/Knipex fold-out at stores that tell you what they carry and the tools should be on hang pegs. I'll scan and post if you can't get your hands on it.

Most of the higher end catalog stuff has been online-only since 2007 or 2008. Order via Sears and they drop ship with no stock in hand nor fussing with warehousing. Sears is just a front and gets a cut of the deal. Pretty sweet. But lazy.

Somewhere between pimp and middle-man is how I see it.

Most of these items are online-only.
