I have this old snap on tool box that I picked up years ago thinking I would use and I never have. It doesn't have any tags on it but I was told it's a snap on. I have two drawers that are also supposed to be from a snap on box but they don't fit this one. I hate to throw it in the scrap pile but I'm also tired it sitting here. I'm thinking $30 for everything?? Let me know. You can contact me at xtrm4xjp(at)aol.com. I'm located in Kenosha, WI.

Take a rag and wipe down the back and you will find the markings for what model and year it is

Thanks for the tip Fordman. I looked a the back and confirmed it is a Snap-On. Model is a KRA-377a and I'm guessing it's a "68" as this was stamped after "Kenosha, WI".

Don't scrap it. Put it on your local craigslist. You'll get your $30.

I was trying not to go there as some of the people that reply to the ads are not very desireable charactors to deal with.

With the model number I did stumble upon a snap on collector forum so maybe I'll try my luck there. Thanks guys.

Yeah i dont like having people come to my house either. Id rather them not drool over my tools and get some funny ideas. One time i sold a snowmobile track to a guy who lived a mile away. He didnt want me at his house and him at mine so we met right in the middle of the road between our places lol. I usually meet at a grocery store or home depot.

Meet them in a public place like a supermarket parking lot, etc. That's what I do. I would never give out my address to someone on CL.

Ha ha. I have...dozens of times. Not a single problem. :bounce:

Lately, some people have been meeting people at gas stations for CL transactions and been getting robbed. Doesn't matter where you meet...the key is to be smart about it.
