I sold a house to some folks and they wanted some stuff retro-fitted into the house, cool **** like Lutron lighting controls, RTI home automation, and one of these (see link below). Its a hand dryer for their powder room, it is less then 6 amps and right around 500 watts. After seeing it installed today, I think I want one for the powder room at my house. What cool thing do ya'll want for your house or your garage? I personally love anything thats electrical or electronic; but moderately priced stuff unless its something like a garage heater or backup generator; both of which add quite a bit of value to the house.

there is so much out there, i dont even know where to start.

I had bought a pvr and wanted more storage. i nearly got sucked into a well priced nas box.looked cool.whilst checking on the net, i found out a old junk pc could do a way better job. just be careful with cool gagets sometimes a bit of diy is better.

I always thought outdoor speakers and a stereo would be a great feature to have on the patio. A bunch of outdoor outlets around the house to plug stuff into like Christmas lights, hedge trimmers, etc. A urinal in the garage and and in the house. Phone jacks in every room in the house. Keypad entry for the garage. Heated driveway in the winter. Central vacuum system in the house. Motion sensor light for the basement stairs. Low wattage lights to light the hallway at night. Laundry chute to the basement. How about a heated bay to wash the car in the garage to wash cars in. There are just so many cool things you could add...

A towl rack to hold the towl so I can dry my hands.

I hate the way my hands feel after using one of those air blowers.....and they don't do a very good job of drying off your face.

I love hi tech....but sometimes, simple is better.

If you are going to get a hand dryer, get a good one.

This bad boy will get every drop of water off of your hands guaranteed.

^^^^ I like this answer.

My minimum is 3 drops to a room, but I prefer 4...usually in at least 2 locations. I think I used 3 boxes of 1,000 feet each.
