Need help in identifying floor jack...

I finally dug this floor jack out of storage intending to rebuild it or at least determine if it's worth my time/effort to do so.
I have another import "King Hydraulic" that still works well, but this one is built quite differently.
All the pivot points seem to be serviceable.
A few measurements...
Overall length: 27"
Width of rear wheels: 14.5"
Width of front wheels: 10.5"
Frame width: 6 3/4"

Anyone have any ideas on the origins of this jack?

Thanks
Derek

Hein-Werner...worth my time rebuilding
China...not so much
Seems well built compared to my other "chinese" POS

At least I scored a set of 4 Hein-Werner 5-ton jack stands last night! :)

It's a older import, it's hands down better than today's junk in regards of serviceability but definitely from china.

Any tips you can give me that would help me identify an unmarked jack as an import?

This is china made, could be 20 years old like mine. I think it is rated 2.5 tons. They have done quite well over here, even under daily use. Yours looks like "new" so rebuild can probably wait several years.

Sometimes the tooth mechanism releases when the lever is in low position. If this happens you have to remove the handle and dig out accumulated dirt from the hole. It pushes the gear upwards causing slip when handle is low, even braking a small clip holding it in place. (sorry it is difficult for me to describe this, my jack lingo is not up to speed)

Granted they are not very user friendly, so to speak, but quite strong and stable (even under 3/4 ton trucks) and I have yet to see any leaks.

Think it has a leak, but have not looked at it too carefully yet.
Need a low profile to fit under my Porsche anyway.
