Favorite MICRO 1/4 ratchet

Anyone have a Micro 1/4 ratchet? Have a favorite one?

I have a 1/4" hex drive ratchet by VIM. I've had it for about 6 weeks and use it for a multitude of uses. Great product. My Cornwell tool guy carries them

My favorite is this Husky one I got at Home Depot more than a few years ago. It's great for trim and other applications. You can use bits or 1/4 drive stuff. At like $16 it was money well spent. You can also find it under Blackhawk, Vim, and other brands. I also have this Sunex bit holding ratchet and a Snap on Tk860 mighty mouse ratchet which is great for hose clamps. i've also got a Wera Bitratchet but, I still like the Husky the best.

The MATCO AFR372T is a 72 tooth 3" ratchet. COO is not listed.

Deen, a brand sold in Japan, has been selling that ratchet. It comes with a quick-release though.

Second ratchet from the bottom is the Deen ratchet.

The design of the handle is a knock-off of the Nepros (KTC) ratchets. Just like my avatar.

That Titan gearless ratchet is not bad for the price. It's a push-through square drive so direction changes aren't as fast, and it definitely isn't a zero-degree ratchet though.

Sorry for not posting more info. I picked it up off the truck today for $50. In my mind well worth the money. Smooth action, beefy feel to it (feels very well built) and works great! Very compact.

I had the new Snap-on RHR that was 3 inches long but was let down on for a 72 tooth was very jagged feeling and took more effort to engage the next tooth. The dual 80 design is great but the RHR are poor IMO.

I have the Husky that has been mentioned here:

Can use 5/16" or 1/4" bits, and I have an adaptor to make it 1/4" drive rat.

If I need a small head, 1/4" drive tool at a funny angle, I can also use this Wright breaker bar.

i don´t know but i guess "Hi-Five" who also makes all of the "Reverse Gear" brand tools. The bit holding system is a patent from Hi-Five which is similar among all these tools (Bahco, Wera, Wurth, Husky etc.)

I too thought it was made by sunnex til the post was made about Deen tools. Who knows might be the same plant that makes both of them

I don't know what the Sunnex version looks like, but I suspect it's made by the same company that supplies Deen: "Ru Shine" (Quan Tian Co. Ltd.)

FWIW, they have (or still are) supplied MAC and Great Neck with the swivel head ratchets too.

Either way, the ratchet works great, smooth fine tooth and is confortable in the hand. It gets my stamp of approval!

My Matco dealer did not have that ratchet in stock, so I purchased the double pac of Sunnex from a local Auto parts house. I got both the 1/4" hex and square drive tools for $44.00 and I'm very pleased with the quality
