Hi. Can anyone suggest the best made 6 in 1 screwdriver. I find myself using these frequently and I am learning that HF and the parts store counter are not the best supplier of these ;-)

I have this

It's hard to complain for $2 though

I've got a Klein 8-in-1 that has worked well for years, but I'm partial to the orange-handled 4-in-1 screwdrivers (all mine are "Buck Bros").

I have a couple of cheap Great Neck 4 in 1 drivers from Autozone that I like. They have the 4 sided Snap-on type handle and tend to be the first one I grab out of the drawer. I like the hollow ground flat heads. They are only a couple of bucks each.

With no doubt, the Felo 370-series / Wuerth Zebra magazine (12 bits!).

I use this at work every day.

Tatra; that PicQuic Super8 looks very nice too!

Bought one of those and I went to use it each bit crumbled to dust. Unbelievable and funny, what a deal for 2 bucks.

The handle is less of an issue (Usually) than the bits. Buy a set of good quality bits, (You can often get them in a small case intended for screw guns.) and don't sweat the torque handle unless you dislike the grip of the one you have.

I like Picquic and snap on. Picquicks are as tough as nails and their bits are very durable. I like the snappy a little more because I'm fond of that style of hard handle. Booth are very affordable.

Endres! Used mine today in the junkyard. Some of the screws were pretty rusted in place, but the tips didn't strip the heads and the shaft didn't turn in the handle.

I have two. The clear handled Husky one from Home Depot and an older Popular Mechanics one with the black/yellow triangle sided handle. Both have held up very well. No problems with the bits and everything still locks up into place perfectly.

Love my snap on 10 in 1, just wish I could get the instinct handle on it. I prefer the tri lobe over the older style.

I love Klein, and have a lot of their tools. I'm just not a fan of the small bits on the 11 in 1 screwdriver. The 5 in 1 and 6 in 1 are great though.

I have a couple of Lutz 6 in 1's that were made for my mom's Community Servistar Hdw. They have held up very nicely.

I'm just the opposite with respect to the Klein. I like those small reversible bits and don't like the longer ones of the 5-1. I have plenty of 5-1's also. But, I like the build quality and handle more than anything else on Klein because that's what I'm used to.

+1 - The smaller bits are held so close to the tip that I can't get into the recesses I need to.

I'll have to look into the ones mentioned here since I go through these like water and can't find a good one.

I keep a cheap Kobalt 4in1 in the house for the wife, and I had an Iwrin 6in1 - both of which had exploding bits when I used them on a stubborn screw the other day.

There is simply nothing better than this! It doesn't work for every application, but the other 98% of the time its all you have to grab.

+1 for Enderes. And, I wish they would bring back their fixed blades.

Enderes here too.

I bought a box of a dozen Enderes 4 in 1's years ago from a local mom and pop hdwe store that was going out of business. They have the hdwre store name and phone number stamped into the handle, but aside from that they last a long time and take a beating and provide ample service.

Shafts are skinny enough they get into most recessed fastener holes, which you cant say about most bit screwdrivers or ratcheting screwdrivers these days with the oversized bit shanks at the tip end.

Of course Most all of my screwdrivers are Klien. They just feel better in your hand!

I've got the Klien but unfortunately it is too big and heavy if you use it a lot. Currently looking for something much better.

I know what you mean. That is why i really don't like the 11 in 1 at all!

After reading this thread I think I am going to talk to y SO man and see if I can get one of those Snap on 6 in 1 drivers. Heck there only $17!

I am starting to show my addiction. My Screwdriver of choice now is my SO ratcheting one I scored off ebay for $15.
