Allen tools (Danaher) warranty?

somewhere...
I was thinking about picking up the set of 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" breaker bars from Allen @ Menards or Fleet Farm because I like the handle design better than the (raised panel) Craftsman breakers... What is the warranty like on these? If they break do I have to mail them in or can I just exchange them at Menards or FF? The same question would apply to the impact sockets...

Interested to hear the answer to this. I've been wondering how these Lifetime Warranties work when the store is not the sole supplier of the item.

I bought some Gearwrenches at Sears, but when I asked about the warranty exchange, they told me that Sears doesn't do the exchange. You have to send it back to Gearwrench. Don't know if this is a Sears Corporate Policy or a Store Policy. Anyone here have any experiance with Sears and Gearwrench?

Sears likes to make it difficult for you to replace GearWrench because by the time they wear you out on replacement you just buy the Craftsman set.

well my dad had gearwrench set and i used it few times but sometime it get stuck while i was ratcheting. even my dad tried to break the bolt loose with it... so i told him that it will break really quick and it did... so i saw what my dad did with gearwrench and i decided to buy craftsman sets. i had that craftsman ratcheting wrenches sets and they work great and no problems. it is been four years since bought sets.
