I stopped by my Costco and saw the red CSPS toolbox. It didn't have a price tag on it and it was the only left. I can get the floor model for $350. I'm debating if I should jump on it or not. I was also looking at this Craftsman set. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_009C0535000B?adCell=W1

I know this thread is old, but I couldn't find much out there about this CSPS box.

If it's the one pictured in the OP, it's a great box. I've been using mine in a professional setting at work, and it's holding up great. All of my coworkers and contractors that come into the shop are complementing it.

Yep, it's the one in the OP. I just started pricing tool boxes/chests. Some of the posts on here made me question the quality. I got the best look I could at it in the store. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Does anyone else have an opinion? I'm going crazy debating whether I should get this for $350 or spend more money on something else.

Way, way, way off topic here but somebody mentioned Costco's return policy and I have a question. If I have a failed Larin aluminum 2 ton jack which they no longer carry can it be returned/exchanged/waranteed through them even if I don't have a receipt? How would that go down?

Yes, they'll look it up in your shopping history at the returns desk. It will go faster if you know when you bought it.

I did this with a CSPS box that was a few years old. The middle support started sagging and the drawers would catch. The paperwork that came with it said it had a factory 10 year warranty, but I wasn't paying to ship it back to CSPS so I took it back to Costco. No problems.

I bought it and love it. The wood top is great and has plenty of space. As a weekend wrencher it meets all of my needs

350 I would jump all over it.

i have this tool box and have had it for several years it is an ok box but as a professional mechanic it is not heavy enough or hagve the strength in the rollers to support the tools i have in the bigger drawers. i would suggest that you go and get a general at harbor freight they have more ball bearing roller slides for the drawers than this one does and the warranty is better too
