Neat idea. Great for small stuff (like Toyota timing covers). This is a 1/4" air ratchet with a twist. Literally.

Pull the red collar around the head upward, and you can rotate the head in 90-degree increments and lock it back down by releasing the collar. So what you're really doing is moving the trigger/lever to the front, back, or either side of the tool. Very handy. I loathe using air ratchets, but at least this one lets you move your knuckles to (hopefully) clear when it kicks. I've had mine for 3 weeks, and it works very well.
