Neat idea. Great for small stuff (like Toyota timing covers). This is a 1/4" air ratchet with a twist. Literally.

Pull the red collar around the head upward, and you can rotate the head in 90-degree increments and lock it back down by releasing the collar. So what you're really doing is moving the trigger/lever to the front, back, or either side of the tool. Very handy. I loathe using air ratchets, but at least this one lets you move your knuckles to (hopefully) clear when it kicks. I've had mine for 3 weeks, and it works very well. :)

I gave up on that type of air ratchets. I came close to losing fingers with the kick back. Of course, I was using a cheap one not a MAC. Looks good, let us know how its works out in the long run....

Same here. I just don't do enough to warrant an air ratchet. Now, if I was in a shop doing the same type of jobs repeatedly... then it makes a ton of sense. Time saved is money earned.

I wonder if they will ever come out with a viable battery-operated version of that air ratchet... don't laugh... 20 years ago cordless tools were a joke!

I've got the mini 3/8'' AR2875. I looks huge in the picture but it'll fit in the palm of your hand. The little guy puts out 20 foot pounds.
