Franz© Banned?

How come Franz© was banned? Sure he was "crude" at times, but I think he was one of the most knowledgeable members on this board. I found him a great relief from the constant eBay and HF comparisons.

Was he given any sort of warning or reason upon this happening? I just hate to see such a resource be lost. I know I was always entertained by Franz© posts and hope there was good reason for such action.

Wow, what did he do? A few months ago it was LECROIX, I never did see what he posted to get him banned.

Perhaps the moderators sent them PM's as warnings.

Franz is just a cantankerous old codger that said things the way that they were, and some wimps just couldn't handle it, so they complained. I guess that this is what got him banned. If you want something sugar coated, he wasn't the one to do it. He told it like it is, and didn't mince words in doing so. I guess that there is no room here for dissenting opinions unless you word them in such a way as not to offend anyone. I didn't always agree with him, but I always did respect his opinion. I still keep in touch with him in the outside world ...
Who knows, someday you might just be saying "what happened to Junkman........

At this point in my life, there is very little that I can't live with beyond my medications. Take them away from me, and it is the end of the road for me. I enjoy this website, and I try to lend a hand whenever possible, but I also know that you can't please everyone every time, and still be true to yourself. For those that I have offended, my apologies.... For those that I have not offended, your turn will come, and I will apologize in advance. For those that don't accept my apologies....... ... ops.... wrong finger.... Life is too short to walk on egg shells worrying about every word that you say, and weighing each word in how it is going to be taken, and by whom. Maybe I should just quit while I am ahead, before they ban me???
