What a idiot ... it's like saying a car without a transmission works, but you have to get out and push it ...

What would you expect from a pawn shop. Try to get a loan on your perfect condition Rolex and a pawn shop will tell you everything that is wrong with it. Try to buy a broken wrench and it's in perfect "used" condition.

That's business as usual at pawn shops. It's all part of "the game."

Yup, generally speaking it is useless to try and explain why something is overpriced at a pawn shop. They priced it, so they obviously think it is worth more than it really is. Every now and then I'll get lucky though.

I get so tired of them saying "Thats snap on". They should base the prices on what they paid not on retail, They could mark them up 10% from what they paid and still make off good.

Amen brother!! I feel your pain, believe me

I've gotten to the point where I just don't try and fight it anymore. It's either deal with it or move on. There's other fish in the sea, so to speak. When people/businesses over price stuff I figure they will just learn the hard way when it doesn't sell. That's what I tell myself, but it still bugs the heck out of me!
