Craigslist score!!! Wilton Vise

I thought I would share a major score from Craigslist that occured last night. It's a Wilton 1755 Tradesman Vise. Look at the price in the link. I just have to clean it up, it does work, but I may repaint it. I've been scouring ebay for one of these, and got lucky on this one. The person selling told me she had 2 of them, and she sold the other one for the same price.

Good find. I've been looking for a couple of years, and only found two bargains. One I bought for the shop (Charles Parker 4.5"), and two I wasn't the first caller on (they held for them, I never get things held when I am the first caller).

I've had a couple of people looking to no avail. I finally got a smaller one that will work (Wilton 4"), but I still miss the old quick release feature that the shop one had, and am still looking for a large vise.

I am a couple towns over from Meriden CT where Charles Parker vices where made, Ive got a couple different Parker vices from yard sales they are great tools.
