Basically just tying to figure out how an F936/FLF936 is assembled for future reference since the F830/F831 (which I know how to disassemble) are starting to get scarce. I only have one 936 series ratchet in my possession now and all I've ever done to it is remove the cover plate for cleaning and re-lubricating.

I was also wondering if the F936/FLF936 can be assembled/disassembled by the owner without special tools or if only an S-O dealer can do it.

I can handle the bearing; and I know how much of a pain they are, but I was wondering if a pin punch goes through the whole in the pawl for the purpose of pushing out the switch lever. Seems to me that would be a good purpose for having a hole in the top of the pawl; assuming it's a through-hole.

the tolerances are very tight on a 936 and that adds to the frustration.

I actually like Snap-on tools better than I do girls. Why? Because S-O tools last longer and are way more dependable.
